Naughty Spell (Part 7)

And this naughty story comes to an end... or does it?
This pic will come with a surprise that I will reveal in a few days. ;)
It was fun to explore the style of this pic, something very different from my usual stuff.
Don't miss what's coming! and also, in a non-related matter, don't miss the end of GOT tomorrow!!! I for one, can't wait... >.<
Those of you who see the show, what are your thoughts about this last episode's events? Just curious.

Naughty Spell (Part 7)

Comments

Agree with you regarding GoT. I actually quite enjoyed the final episode, so maybe my opinion on the rest of the season will improve over time.

In regards to the Game of Thrones finale, I'm probably in the minority of people who enjoyed it and feel quite good about it. I understand why people are upset but I feel like the main criticisms are mainly about the fact that they are choosing to close the book on the show. I've never had a show make my heart rate be so high and my jaw on the floor so long. I could honestly talk about the show forever lol. I loved it and it's a very good ending! Now I am hoping they eventually do a spin-off of "The Tales of Dunk and Egg"

Laptop123

They are definitely conciuos! I also couldn't help but imagining the pictures moving. Even thought they would look great animated, but I have other priorities in that department . I'm glad you like my alternative ending at least hehe. I think the same major events with enough episodes to tell them would have been just great. I felt very dissappointed with Cersei's death though. It should have been much...I don't know, nastier? She almost looked like a martir dieing with her loved one.

Ninjartist

I like how you think my friend.

Ninjartist

I think GRRM ideas for the end, based solely on the events that happened, were really good. I think the way they were told though could have been much better. So yeah, the lack of books probably affected the quality of the ending. But I still think it's the best series out there.

Ninjartist

Well I won't disclose it quite yet, but you know me, I always like to leave the "door open" for more... ;)

Ninjartist

I would have wished to get it done before the series ended, I just hope ppl don't lose interest too quick after it ends !

Ninjartist

hahaha, Well I will try to fill in the gaps GoT left with future works ;) Yes, as I said in previous comments, it does feel like the characters needed more time to develope into this current versions of them.. I feel Daenerys is the most rushed one, but also in a way, Arya and Bran.. and Jon and Dany's romance.

Ninjartist

Oh, I'm sure this is just the begining of what we will see of the GOT universe. series, movies, prequels and sequels are for sure being considered if not confirmed already.

Ninjartist

Thanks Jim! Yes, I can deliver each page separately as well. It will be the longest indeed! I had a lot of fun making it :)

Ninjartist

Harry? mmm.. maybe.. maybe not ;)

Ninjartist

It's a great series, worth watching no matter what you hear about the last seasons. Please don't read the other comments or you may find spoilers!

Ninjartist

hehe, you'll find out very soon ;)

Ninjartist

Oh, I just an idea about the surprise of this...pic. It's related to some canon thing of the HP universe, isn't it?

MasterQi

*sigh*. That being said, from a technical point of view, the show is still absolutely fantastic. Despite the many shortcomings of the plot, visually the penultimate episode was just stunning. And while I am overall disappointed, it's only bad 'for Game of Thrones'. I've seen much worse when it comes to shit endings and here you at least have the stunning visuals and the great performances (shoutout to Emilia Clarke, who has really upped her game for the final stretch). Well, I have a feeling Dany may not make it through the final episode, which, after last the episode, I can sort of live with. Of course, being a 'grim kind of guy' I do hope they'll give her at least a spectacular death, but I have a feeling it'll just be boring and / or schmalzy ^^; Well, at least we still have your "Daenerys and Viserion" follow-up(s?) to look forward to :D :D

Jedah

Whoa, that sure is unique - not unexpected, but surely something we haven't seen before :D Being more of a 'grim' kind of guy I'm actually not entirely sure how I feel about it, but I really do appreciate the variety. And, of course, the great artwork! :D It's really cool ^^ --- As for GoT....yeah, it really is a bit of a letdown this last season. Not just Dany's really not all that convincing character development (it really neded both more foreshadowing in earlier seasons AND more scenes showing a deteriorating psychological state), but also the unusually lazy writing (i.e. almost every single thing related to Euron Greyjoy is a godamn plot convenience - although I do like the actor's kind of hammy performance). And it's not just Dany. Tyrion hasn't done a single smart or useful thing since he got to Essos and Jon's character development has basically come full circle back to 'idiotic Stark, making honorable but horrible decisions'. If he's the one who ends up 'winning' can't he at least do something useful or make, like, one good decision? Didn't even get, like, a miniboss battle during the long night, even though he was essentially the Night King's nemesis for the entire show.

Jedah

SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVENT SEEN THE LAST EPISODES. Yes the golden company ended up golden fried quite soon. I did love the effects and the photography of this last battle, the only thing to critic is that she basically wiped out everything with her dragon alone, she spent so much time building the gratest army and it would seem she only needed 1 dragon. The battle of winterfell was great, a little too dark, but great. I have to say though that during the series I was kinda imagining the "long night" to be something that would extend through a hole season at least and maybe also through all westeros, yet it ended the moment they crossed the wall.

Ninjartist

Thanks, Perniciousducks, you'll find out very soon ;) I did like the turn of events, I kinda expected some of them, but as you say, it did feel rushed and the way they told the story in this last seasons just wasn't as well thought as before. I can see though, that the events reflect the style of GRRM yet shown in a poorer way. I still enjoyed everything until now, I do hope the end don't dissappoint.

Ninjartist

I agree, The season should have been 10 episodes, it does feel rushed.

Ninjartist

Yeah, Dany is most likely to die in this next episode. I will definitely do an Arya pic very soon!

Ninjartist

Maybe the reveal that there's been other victims of the book, and that they've been in there for years/decades?

Simon Peter

That's a nice (and unexpected) style you got for this pic! I like it. For GoT...well...it kinda sucks. It is visually appealing, but that's the only redeeming quality for this season. It has become the best example of "writing gone bad".

MasterQi

i really, REALLY hope the secret is that they're "underneath" the pages, fully immersed in slime, being forever fucked with every orifice spread wide, cheeks and throats bulging with slime. message me with a quote on what it would cost to commission this ending if my hopes are dashed.

Joseph Czarniak

Looks Great> I've been highly disappointed with this last season of GoT. The plot twists feel very cheap, like they are being subversive for the sake of just being subversive. Ive read all of the ASOIAF books and I feel like they could have made the choices they made make sense if they had just taken more time. Using foreshadowing instead of developing characters is no excuse. On the bright side the production value is top notch. Who would have thought your Bad Ending would be more of a good ending then what the show came up with. lol

MysteryStreet

Very nice, loving the fact they’re still writing within the slime and maybe Ginny now reading it? As for GoT, a hot mess. Some great individual scenes (Tyrion/Jamie, Arya/Hound) but it really does feel like showrunners are struggling after running out of books. Needed at least another series to fully explore why some characters acted like they have.

Oh boy I'm really loving where this is going. I'm looking forward to both the finale and the NSFW variant. This will be your longest series I think. Will we be able to get single page portraits for each girl? Thanks. :)

Jamie Rain

Hm, looks like an interesting end to the series, I wouldn't be surprised if it's Harry reading that book :P I'm looking forward to the bonus pic too :)

Anthony Adams

I like this Ninja! Cool angle and nice to see new techniques. Is Hermione trying to warn someone? As for GoT, I still gotta catch up :P Just finished Season 5 (RIP Stannis).

Aximey

Perfect ending for this series! Is someone else going to stumble upon the book?

desguardius

@Andy I imagine they are still conscious! Nothing better than Hermione and Luna constantly worked over in a dusty book for everyone to enjoy. Love the way Hermione's hair looks and the lettering on their names is excellent. As for GoT: I didn't really understand what motivated Kheleesi to burn all those innocents. It doesn't really jive with her character to that moment. I think people are being too harsh on the show. It's still enjoyable, although on the decline.

Mana Ray

I agree that the ending is probably what GRRM intended, but Dany going from wanting to help the oppressed to how she is now happened so fast my friend and I laughed hysterically at it. Even harder than we did with episodes 3 and 4.

Interesting ending to this series. Out of interest, since pictures move in the Harry Potter universe, are they still conscious? Regarding GoT... back when season 6 ended and I found out there were only 13 episodes left, I remember thinking it would be horribly rushed. Season 8, not to be too dramatic, ruined everything. I just wanted an okay ending, I knew it would probably disappoint a little, but even so, I still signed the petition to remake it. The only good thing to come out of it has been your Dany and Viserion series. :)

This is pretty much how I thought this series would end! Yeah I think the surprise will either be seeing what's happening to them inside the book, or someone getting off to the book. :P

Mallory

I'm hoping that the surprise is us getting she what's happening to the two of them inside the book.

Ronnie R15

I think the "twist" with Dany is what GRRM had intended. He did tell the show runners how the major character arcs would end. I think the problem with how it was portrayed in the show is it comes across as too sudden, which I think is a casualty of the shorter seasons. Her character, throughout the show, has wanted to crush/burn first but was advised against it. Now all those advisors are dead or she feels betrayed by, and her ideas of the common people flocking to her turned out to be nothing but fantasies.

veeshan123

I honestly hadn't put much thought into this last season being rushed and Dexter-esque in its crappy final season quality until recently. Probably because I love large scale warfare so the Battle of Winterfell was quite pleasing to me. I was definitely disappointed in the lack of Golden Company doing any damn thing. Regarding things like that it certainly does seem to be rushed and sloppy. Either way I've loved GoT and while I expect the finale won't be nearly as epic as I hoped, I'll still love it. Hopefully.

Von Hugenstein

Great way to end this series, looking forward to the surprise, maybe someone reading the book? As for Thrones, the writing is very rushed and in many cases just bad. The show used to be about slowly building to something big and in hindsight was obvious. Now they just do shock value and big special effects. If the show runners didn’t want to do this anymore they should have left and let someone else take over instead of rushing to get it done in as few episodes as possible

Perniciousducks

As for Thrones, I'm excited to see the end. I don't care as much as other about the "poor writing" or "shoddy character development" but I do have to agree it's bfelt a little rushed this season.

Dashrendar23

Very nice! A fitting end. Something seems off about Hermione but that might just be the angle :)

Dashrendar23

I'm hoping for a Queen Sansa ending, but I don't see good things for Dany anymore... on another note do you think you'll ever do anything with Arya's character?
