You know what! Butterfree is tough. Decent to pair with a different pokemon (preferably one with decently long limbs), but it's definitely a challenge to stick two of them together! Before i started working on this, i scouted youtube for footage of butterflies mating, but ultimately there's a lot of InsectAbdomen going on there, and butterfree just doesn't have one? It'd have been useful for venomoth or vivillon maybe, but I just had to figure it out as i went here.
Butterflies have a weird clasping apparatus that seems to get stuffed inside the female's opening, and then they just hang out while the dude's abdomen pulsates and squirts her full of the goods. Not the most appealing thing, i figured, so i went with a kind of cone with grippers idea here. Presumably he pushes it in, and then uses the little grippers to push the back flat and make a good seal against the back? Seems kind of hot.
I also made it translucent so you can see the fluids getting pushed out, for kicks~
