Page 01 of an ongoing comic project for F-Yoshi

Found myself putting in some extra hours on the weekend. I was excited to get this comic rolling. This was a bit of a learning experience, honestly. Never, EVER make a text-heavy page, WITHOUT making room in your sketch FOR that text. In a project like The Mouse Hole, the dialogue is sparse, and can just be stuffed into empty space. Things like that don't need a script. However, when you've got a whole page of dialogue to set up the comic, along with minute bits of info that have to get out there, you're setting yourself up for some agony~
I made a time lapse specifically of the text / balloon portion of the page, and then one of just the normal ink/coloring/finishing bits.
Really glad all the pages sketches after this one have room in them already for the dialogue (and that there is much less of it from here on out)

Because this is a client project, i'll be posting on all platforms simultaneously, as pages are finished. I hope you enjoy it!
