Journal #000 - Milestone, Many Sketches, Comic Stuff

What is this?

I need a way to directly address you guys, in a less incidental fashion that a paragraph inside a sketch post. So here's something I'm going to start doing occasionally. A journal, to talk to you guys and get some feedback.

Patron Milestone - 100!

We're at a pretty awesome milestone right now, 100 patrons! I'm really flattered, and thankful to you all for being here. I hope you've enjoyed some of this content i've been able to spend my time on thanks to you, and i hope my work continues to being you some joy. Or jollies, or whatever specifically you're getting out of it`~

We haven't quite hit the COMIC PAGES IN SKETCHPOLL milestone, but we're moving closer each month. Because we're close, i've been slipping the occasional single page comic into the sketches. More about comics later, though. In any case, thank you for being here, it's really wonderful to just sit down and brew up this stuff.

ALL THIS ICE FOX THOUGH. SO MANY SKETCHES, 2 POLLS A MONTH?

You've probably noticed i've sketched a lot of Aurora. I apologize if it's too much. The way i see it, most of the sketches i've been doing have been exercises on the ipad, and i has basically used that for practice. With the comic coming up, she just seems like a reasonable subject to sketch.

Because i'm so far ahead of the polls, sketch-wise, i don't see much issue just hammering out icefox for fun.

You know, we're in a weird situation. I have a bunch of sketches now, and the polls are generally bi-weekly. If i keep sketching at this rate they're never gonna end up in a poll, ha. I hadn't considered what to do if i ended up being very far ahead of schedule, as it were. Do you guys have any ideas?

ISLAND COMIC, FINAL STUFF TO HAMMER OUT

In other news, there's the Island Comic. Tomorrow i have scheduled to be my Final Brainstorming session, where i come to a hard decision on some of the DEEP LORE stuff.

Stuff like :

How to justify/enable people's oc's to be in the comic as background characters

Have the pokemon been born and raised there for a couple generations or are new pokemon showing up every week?

Are they currently aware of the world outside, are they unaware of humans?

Are any of them former trainer pokemon?

Are any of the pokemon former people?

What's the frame story of the comic? Is it a VR 360 camera thing people sign up for and follow their chosen pokemon around in? Is it a truman show style tv show?

Are the people selling the show/service specifically catering to sex weirdos who want to watch and encourage pokemon to fuck?

Do people ever fuck the pokemon? Who knows!

I need to iron all that out befor ei can actually start. I have the setting mostly hammered down, but some things need a bit of thought so i have a clear framework to write in, without contradicting itself, and still delivering the cutesy porno that people want.

It's a lot of work, lol. Who knew.
