In other news, two updates on the ipad front.
1) i ordered the dumb PAPERLIKE brand screen protector that, while hotly debated, has a good number of people supporting the amount of traction it adds to drawing, which would be rad, if it works. It's showing up from germany though, so i don't know when it'll arrive.
2) in case that doesn't work (and in the interim), i've found another solution. Surgical tape. Just real thin fabric with adhesive on the other side. Slapping a little bit of that onto the pen tip makes it feel just about the same as my felt nib wacom pen, and the speed and accuracy of my ipad sketching has gone way way up. Got a few drawings i'm hype to put into the poll, but we've gotta clear some out first <3
