03 Poll Results!

2) "03 - [Dolphin(f) / Dolphin(m)]" : 39
3) "02 - [Salazzle(f) / penis(m)]" : 30 (had 15 residual votes)
4) "01 - [Buizel(?) / Floatzel(m)]" : 27 (had 18 residual votes)
5) "01 - [Renamon(f) / penis(m)]" : 20 (had 13 residual votes)
6) "00 - [Vulpix(m)/Pikachu(f)]" : 18 (had 10 residual votes)
It was pretty close a few days ago, but a few more votes came in, and it seems that a few people changed their votes (i wasn't sure you could do that D:, huh).
So i've noticed something interesting, having done a few of these image polls. I always expect that the New sketches will have a harder time winning, because of the residual votes, but time and time again more people vote for one of the new entries. It's worth mentioning though, that both new images got 3 heavy votes each. But regardless of the vote weights, if you just look at the raw counts, the pikchu picture that won got nearly Half of all votes, with the dolphin pic below it as less than half that, and everything else following.
It's just an interesting thing. I don't have enough data to really draw any conclusions from this. Maybe the longer a picture sits in the poll, the less people are interested in seeing it finished because the way it is now is sort of set in stone? Maybe it's been a fluke and the new pictures have just always been cooler than the old ones were? Or maybe people are just more excited by the new content, regardless. I really can't say.
