Unofficial Dev Report (Info about when to expect what)

Hey everyone, I hope you've all been doing well.

After how things ended in August, I took some time to recollect and work on many of those things.
Many facets of my life were in the same state as things here have been, there were and still are many things for me to work on and many fires to put out but things have been getting better everyday.
But that doesn't exactly mean too much right now.

Ultimately, I am in a much better headspace than I was in the last post.
I have a much better outlook and things don't seem so insurmountable.

This update has to get out, I need to get past this rut and get back to having fun. I want to get back to the basketball and continue on the modern day consensual Genghis Khan path.
Work on the update has continued, I did go back and change some things in some scenes and I revised the dialogue many times. Some changes are still being worked on.
And well, while I do like the current version much more than what it was... there's still that feeling of panic and doubt.

I've never handled releasing large updates well and with all of my other issues with the update, things have been an absolute shitshow.
As you guys know, I've bounced between releasing the update in chunks or releasing it all together many times.
I can't panic and change my mind at the last moment anymore. The plan now has to be concrete.
I'm going to do what we feel is best for the moment as there are still things being worked on.

So, this update will release in 4 parts.

1st part will be up to the end of the Daliah scene. (800-ish renders)
2nd part will be the rest of E13. (500-ish renders)
3rd part will be Day 37 (500-ish renders)
4th part will be Day 38 (400-ish renders)

I'm staying away from hard release dates, but the 1st part will be out within the next few days. I'm in the process of changing some flashback renders and when that is finished that part will be made available to all of you.
Each part past that has something I'm altering but I don't imagine anything taking more than a week each.
I've tried setting up a similar release plan a few times already and just to be blunt those failed.
I feel like I'm past most of what has been plaguing me and I've sorta accepted at this point that most of it just isn't going to get any better right now. I want to show that I can get over this. I've done it before and I don't want things to stop there.

Pledges have been paused since August 10th, they were paused due to the numerous missed release dates but I will be unpausing pledges soon. This is not without conditions.
Pledges will not be un-paused until the release of the 1st part.
Pledges will be re-paused if more than a week passes without one of these releases. Due to us currently being close to the end of the month, pledges will also be re-paused if part 2 is not released by the end of September.
In the event of needing to pause again, pledges would then only un-pause after the next release.
Furthermore, if the 1st beta of S2-C2 isn't out by the end of October then pledges will be paused for that as well.

As always anyone who is uncomfortable supporting me in this admittedly very low moment, please manually cancel your pledge until things have been proven to have changed.
There is absolutely no hard feelings, none of you owe me anything and I owe all of you guys so much.
You won't have to miss anything. All content including all side content released in 2024 will be made available to all former-patrons via the discord. Just make sure to join it before you cancel your pledge.

All of these parts will release to all patrons and former patrons at the same time.
Releases starting in Season 2, Chapter 2 will follow the tier system and will be made available to all former patrons at the same time as the fan tier.


I've had to say sorry way too much recently, but I am very apologetic for how everything has went.
Though apologies are nowhere near enough right now. Only actions moving forward mean anything.
This solution isn't the most ideal but we have to get past this and onto better days.
