CrapBook April - NightBussin N18 Stereo

Hello All!

It's finally here - and we hope you all like it!

This is our first attempt at Nightbussin - a spin off of sorts where Eli and I pick a night bus and take an audio adventure along its route!

We thought we would go easy on ourselves for our first attempt, so we went with the N18!

We don't quite know what the format will be as we try new routes, but the plan is to do them every once in a while and see what happens.

I was going to chop a lot more of this recording session up but, for an experiment, we went with something in between. We have a few short segments as we head to the start of the route but then for the last 30 mins of the journey we tried out the lapel mics (kindly donated by Thomas of Channel 84!) and recorded the whole last chunk of the route (bar one slight edit due to a tech issue in editing). That means it's just left to me and Eli to ramble till the end of the line, so we hope it's not too boring! We'd definitely love to hear your thoughts on this!

I've done TWO edits - the one attached to this post is the Stereo mix, so you can feel like you are sitting in between Eli and I on the route... and in the SECOND post I'm going to make after i post this, i will upload a Mono mix for those who'd prefer that way of listening!

We wanted to give it to ALL tiers for our first episode, but it may be that later Nightbussin journeys are part of the $10 tier... OR we could make NightBussin ONLY for ALL tiers as they will be sporadic and something a little different! As ever, we'll bumble our way to a firm idea at some point! we just wanted to share this one with all of you who support us here. As ever, we greatly appreciate your ongoing support and it allows us to make more content of various types and styles!

OK... ONE EXTRA thing... 

We MAY be taking CheapShow to America in Oct - we are still figuring out if its do-able. We'd be able to explore all new thrift stores, get different types of guests, so very different walkabout episodes and we would make a few episodes whilst we are out there! We have a bucket list of sorts at CheapShow HQ, we've managed to make a few happen already, but a USA trip, a vinyl album, a "TV series" of 6 episodes of CheapShow in a "TV show" style, a board game... they are things we want to do and we'd like to give the USA a go - we both have friends in LA and access to great guests and we think it would be something fun and different (AND we'd do MORE Winkie stuff too!), so that's the plan... there is even minor talks of a small live show in LA - maybe doubling up with another show and guests... as i know we have an audience in the USA, we'd love to know if this would be something worth making a journey for, again, in Oct... if it happens!

OK ONE MORE LAST THING...

For the TOP TIER supporters, i am working on April's Visual CheapShow episode and it may come EARLY MAY. For this month, i wanted to film a scrapbook of behind the scenes action of Digitiser Series 2... and on the Insta360 camera, i filmed much more than i expected, and as a result, it's taking me longer to edit and also find the time to edit... but it IS coming and there is some REALLY fun peaks at what's to come if you watch and support Digitiser, as "Level 2" is coming this Summer! So yea, the video is coming and it's gonna be chunky too!
