March Round Up! 2023 Vids/Pods & More

Hello, 

Another month, another round of extra goodies for our amazing CS supporters.

We've got a bumper crop of stuff to offer this month and in the next week we have a new edition of the CheapShow Magazine to deliver (which looks like, frankly, another amazing collection of articles and interviews. I can't wait to get hold of it!)

Before i list off what we're offering this month, here is a little news.

1) CheapShow TV

Sometime this year we are going to do another episode of CHEAPSHOW TV where we tackle board games based on TV Game Shows. However, i am planning on making this the biggest one yet and if the plans come into place, we'll be looking for get TWO Patreon supporters to come along and play as contestants up against our usual cast of regulars. NOTHING is confirmed at the moment, but it may be towards the end of this year! If you are a supporter, and the idea goes through, we may figure out a way of getting two of you to London!

2) Paul and Eli go to America!

We've decided, finally, that this is the year we go to LA to make a few episodes out of the UK. We have plans to do a few very special guest episodes, a few LA walkabout episodes as well as exploring thrift stores etc. It will probably the most we've spent on a project, but this was something we've wanted to do on our bucket list and because i have friends out in California, I'm hoping we can keep costs low. If you have ANY thoughts on our trip (looking to be end of OCT!) please get in touch. If enough US fans are about, maybe we can do a meet up???

3) Live Show? Ish?

Although we aren't planning any CS live shows, we ARE going to be playing big parts in the Digi Weekend Live Shows, so please come along.... HOWEVER, i am trying to arrange something, something special, something of reunion... and if so, I'm pushing to make it a live show - Maybe November? This is all VERY EARLY days, and it may fall through, but if a live show was to happen in Nov, i wonder how many could make it?

4) My Book

I know this isn't CS related, but i know a few of you supported my book "Ain't Afraid of No Ghost" and i AM WORKING ON IT! I'm about 100,000 words and 28 chapters deep and i think i am 2/3 of the way through. With a bit of luck, i can get it finished before Summer!! Which would be amazing, finally the end is in sight, as I've found writing a really difficult thing to do and find time for. But its finally close to completion! 

Right - that's that... What next...

THIS MONTH

1) Red Nob Day BTS - ALL TIERS

We recorded 90 mins of Eli and I recorded RED NOB DAY and we've broken that into 3 x 30 min videos. If you want to see how we craft our narrative episodes, then these videos show you our "creative process" ;) We hope you enjoy them!

2) CrapBook Podcast - $10+ Tier

Our latest monthly edition of the CS Extra Pod - it's a food heavy one with Eli tasting a (as it transpires) faulty Instant Noodle that leaves both of us wanting. Luckily there are a load of snacks to feast on from the US too, thanks to Mike! ALSO, there is a bit of a "deleted scene" at the end from our time hopping episode with Biffo. It's cute, idiotic and thought you'd all get a giggle out of it!

3) Top Tier Video Episode $20+

Thanks to our new(ish) 360 Camera, we can try and offer a bit of visual variety to our top tier videos. As a result, we tried it during a Gannon's Golden Game this month as we play "Pac-Man" - not that one from the 80s that Ashens played with Larry on YouTube, this is a much more modern one and is actually one of my favourite games! i had a lot of fun playing it with Eli... Eli however (and as ever( isn't quite as impressed with it.

HOPEFULLY, next month we have the conclusion of a walkabout episode we didn't complete last year AS WELL as - finally - an episode of NIGHT BUSSING! We have a route, we just need a night to do it!
