So, this is just a quick message to say, as ever, thank you for supporting our pod, as they years go on, we become increasingly more grateful of your support. I've often said Patreon got us to take the pod seriously (so to speak) and meant that rather than top out at 50 episodes and move on, we go to turn this podcast into our playground to try out all kinds of weird ideas we fancied.
We just hope you like what we've done and what we have in store.
I know i want to try and do these things... 1) Vinyl album edition of the pod 2) More Twitch streams 3) a trip to another country to record some eps 4) a new Urinevision competition 5) an episode of Nightbussin and also try a 30 minute pilot for a CS "tv show".
But we will see - we also have a few dangling plot strands going on in the back ground that will come to a dramatic conclusion later in the year. We're not rushing it.

As soon as i post this message, i will be posting 2 pieces of extra content.
1) A 40 Min Crapbook - which is a bit of a failed attempt to do something less "cheapshow" like and something more informal, as with all my plans, they don't exactly pan out. However, we do learn a lot about Australian novelty music!
This is for ALL levels of support and Eli and I will be doing a specific $10+ episode before the end of the month
2) A 30 min TOP TIER video episode - if you hahve read Ivenne's TRULY amazing ISSUE 13 of the CheapShow magazine, you may notice there are a few REAL locations in that story, so Eli and I decide to try and revisit those locations... and get a bit lost in the process.
We'll most likely be doing another podcast (*again, for $10+) and video episode before the end of Feb too, so we can double up on the content and give you lot a lot more CS! (as much as we can realistically fathom).
OH - and we will do the Nightbussin episode just as SOON as i can find a decent wireless lapel mic set up, so Eli and i can record without the hand recorder and do something a little more less obvious that we are recording in public! If anyone has any good suggestions, please give me a shout!

2023-01-18 14:42:44 +0000 UTCI'd love to see you guys on a trip! US road trip, Amsterdam, or Japan. Would gladly throw a few quid towards a Kickstarter. More out and about stuff is always appreciated. Car boot sales, trails/walks, nightbussing, etc. More challenges between the two fo you, too! Long term, it would be great to see an official Cheapshow board game, Escape from Mt Grottpants or Charity Shop Panic or something to that effect. You could work with a game designer including all your favourite game features and mechanics. Probably another Kickstarter type thing. Keep up the great work :)
2023-01-17 16:08:13 +0000 UTCSince you asked what we'd like to see - I've often thought that it'd be funny to have another episode in the vein of Eli's Mandate where Eli gets to basically run the episode, maybe introduce the segments etc. It could be chaos, but that's usually where half the fun is 😄 The roles reversed essentially. I liked the twist (not quite the word I'm looking for, but my brain's gone to bed already) where you two switched sides in last episode's Off Brand Brand Off (honestly I'm suprised Eli didn't get revenge and have his turn at touching you inappropiately/putting his crotch in your hand etc etc).
