August Exclusive Picture: Before the Redline
Added 2020-08-01 22:43:46 +0000 UTCBack in 2009, after seven years of production, one of the craziest anime film ever made has been screened into the world's theaters: "Redline".
Directed by the visionary Takeshi Koike under Madhouse's wing, the film has an unique visual style, a terrific character design, an acid colour palette and a trippy hardcore electronic music soundtrack. Not to be mentioned the dubbing actors involved such as Takuya Kimura, Yu Aoi and Tadanobu Asano, among others.
For a long time I had the will to draw some of the film characters and now the time has finally come.
Here I present you the main protagonists of the film, JP and Sonoshee McLaren, caught in the act on his Trans Am car the night before the Redline race.
