The Law of Hypnotic Rhythm
Added 2022-04-30 17:02:40 +0000 UTCWhat Is Drifting?
Drifting is essentially when one gives up control of their mind to external forces. While you may think this only happens in hypnotism, I must bring to your awareness the fact that it goes much further than just hypnotism.
Here is a solid explanation of exactly what a drifter is:
A 'drifter' is one who does little or no thinking for himself, is one who accepts whatever life throws his way without a protest and is one who permits himself to be influenced and controlled by circumstances outside of his mind. When 'drifting' occurs in one area, it can occur in other areas as well.
Drifting is not to be taken lightly. In this article I will break down how one falls into the trap of drifting, how to break out of it & how to protect against it.
The Law of Hypnotic Rhythm
To fully comprehend drifting, one must have an accurate understanding of hypnotic rhythm. Hypnotic rhythm is a universal law that manifests everywhere from planets and nature to the human mind. Essentially, in humans, hypnotic rhythm is what makes habits permanent.
For the vast majority, as we grow up we are typically taught to fear things such as death, sickness, poverty, old age, the opinions of others etc. Due to the nature of the subconscious mind when we are young, we draw in as much information as we possibly can in the hope of learning everything we need to know about the world. However, this solidifies the aforementioned fears in our minds which can be detrimental if left untreated.
Most people do not question anything, this acceptance of the way things are builds ignorance. Ignorance mixed with fear creates a mind that is not truly controlled by the independent thought of the individual, but controlled by ignorance and fear.
Living in a state of ignorance and fear and accepting the fears previously stated creates a negative hypnotic rhythm in the mind, a form of automated conditioning.
This is why if you ever try to enlighten people who aren't tapped in to subjects like metaphysics they simply look at you like you're crazy. Their mind is structured on completely different foundations than yours, to them you actually are making no sense.
In order to fight against or break out of a negative hypnotic rhythm (drifting) there are two necessities: independent thought and will power. Only with these two foundations can a mind be built that is not susceptible to drifting.
It must be understood though, that hypnotic rhythm itself is not negative. Hypnotic rhythm is merely the term used to describe a permanent rhythm. Think of the permanent rhythm of the seasons changing or of planets orbiting a sun.
And due to the Principle of Polarity, everything has two poles, including hypnotic rhythm. Therefore there is a positive pole. Building constructive, beneficial habits and routines that become permanent in your life is an example of the positive side.
Be a master of these laws, not a slave.
How To Protect Against Drifting
1. Cultivate independent thought. Continuously learn and question what you know, form your own opinions on matters and do not be blindly led by anyone or anything.
2. Discover your purpose, grasp what it is that you want in life and figure out a means of achieving exactly that.
3. Analyse every defeat and learn every lesson lying dormant within it.
4. Be willing to be of utility and service to others. Follow the law of compensation; give to receive.
5. Understand that your consciousness can contact the Universal Mind (God, The Source) via intuition if cultivated correctly through meditation and the raising of vibration in order to access ideas and knowledge.
6. Realise the value of time. On the physical plane time is finite and is always fleeting, utilise organisation in order to reduce/eliminate procrastination and make progress for your goals.
7. Recognise the truth that fear is merely an illusion that deserves no space in the mind.
8. Prayer has nothing to do with asking, pleading or begging. Prayer is the art of demanding what you want from the Universal Mind (can be done via visualisation).
9. Never give in and become a victim of circumstance. Always recognise the importance of the mental and seek to operate from this plane.
10. Remember that the thoughts you feel to be truest are the very thoughts that shape your life. Choose your thoughts with the utmost care.
Following the 10 provided steps will keep you in full control of your mind and, therefore, your reality. Anytime you find yourself deviating off course or slowly starting to drift, come back and read over this article again to centre your focus.
