That song in the credits is sung by Ashley Johson AKA Ellies voice in the games. It was originally used for a trailer for the second game I think. She also played show ellies mom in the last episode of season 1

2025-04-30 06:38:25 +0000 UTCSo, Iβll preface this by saying that Iβm currently replaying the game, so my opinions may change as I reexperience the story for the first time in 5 years. Itβs hard not to draw comparisons to other similar plotlines in other media, and you even mentioned the ones I was going to bring up. But itβs very hard to come to like Abby for me, at any point in the story really. It doesnβt help that Abby literally revels in killing Joel, right after he saved her life, and in this version at potential risk to his own people. And then later youβre forced to play as her for like 10 hours. Itβs absolutely a very bold choice, but in my opinion, while I can absolutely understand Abby, the game doesnβt do a good enough job of getting her anywhere close to how I feel about Ellie. Itβs a shame, because the big points are there, and I think it really couldβve worked, mainly with some changes to Abbyβs character. Itβs a very ambitious story, but when there are so many excellent examples of revenge stories out there itβs easy to see what this story couldβve been, or in the case of the show, could be. Either way, despite its flaws I think itβs mostly a good game with a good story, and I really want to like it more. Hopefully my opinions might change a little after my replay of the game.
