He was part of the Ryushindra community as an assassin when he was younger, but retired after realizing how corrupt the monarchy was and went to live into another clan's territory. Before leaving, he met Ruuji, a high-rank assassin that caught his attention during one of their quests, wondering when they could meat each other in a 1on1 situation. Forgetting about Ruuji was hard for Kai, it was his first time falling in love with a woman.
One day in Kai's bounty hunting, he found out Ruuji became a target, knowing how relentless his group was, he had no choice but to think in a betrayal and help Ruuji to get out of the situation...

SO, before you ask yourself, the other (lewd) refs are just there in case I decide to commission something lewd lol, you'll never see him naked or with only the thigh highs and armwear in the canon story but it's good to have some of those for the lewd artists lol.
Btw Pleasure palace 'uniform' is non canon as hell...
