Dragon Maid update

Hello hello! It's quite early in the morning for me and I've got another Dragon Maid update for you today.
I've got a couple things to share in fact, the first being some animation as usual. This scene I was working on is one near the end of the animation, where Ilulu is filling up Tohru with a creampie.

I've still got a few tweaks to make, like adding some twitching/shudders to the both of them, but otherwise I think this one came out pretty well...! Here's the storyboards:

The other thing I've been working on lately are backgrounds. I still have some scenes to animate and touch up, but I figured it might be a good idea to try and work on layouts rather than leave everything right until the end.

It can be tricky to match the show's style but I'm trying my best to keep the look similar at least! If you're unfamiliar with the show or just wanted refresher here's a screenshot of an episode I was referencing with Kobayashi's apartment:

The work is definitely starting to come together! I still have plenty to do but I'm hoping the closer we get to the finish line the more I can motivate myself. I know you're all looking forward to the finished project and so am I, haha. So I will hopefully have more updates for you soon, and until then thank you as always for the support!!
