Fucking hell, the subject nearly escaped today. The morning feeder team were attacked and the subject breached the observation chamber. I've never seen her... it move like that. So goddamn fast, I swear it blurred. It's always seemed kind of awkward and ponderous with all the changes its body has undergone, but now... Shit, this came out of nowhere. It almost feels like... Like a trap. Revising earlier conclusion that subject is no longer sapient. I suspect this was a calculated move to lull us into a false sense of security so it could attempt to escape. The subject's addiction to [redacted] might have been the only thing that saved us. It stopped to consume a puddle left by the feeder team before it reached the air ducts, giving asset protection time to stun it and return it to the observation chamber. I've been asking for reinforcement of the air duct vents sense we saw this thing squeeze itself into a dog carrier last month. Maybe now [redacted] will listen to me.
