Hey hey! It's been a week since Cuni's Debut and we just wanted to keep everyone up to date with our plans. To that extent, we'll be giving weekly updates every Saturday!
At the moment we're targetting actual game updates every other update, with the weeks in between dedicated to letting you know what exactly we have planned!
For Content, we're looking at 10 new levels! We want to build up more organically to the challenge levels introducing concepts more naturally so you always have the tools you need to tackle any puzzle as they show up!
For Art, we have a few new animations planned in the pipeline! For instance, what happens when Cuni gets 'caught,' as well as some alternative ways to get Shrimp from especially stingy pirates!
For Gameplay, we're looking to add an Undo Button. By far the most requested feature we've gotten! While it also hasn't come up, we all want the option so that when you press Space, or "Jump" on a downstairs tile, you return the previous stage, that way if you ever get stuck, especially on the challenge stages, you can just head back to level select!
In addition, having the Dialogue interrupt gameplay seemed to be a bit annoying so we'll add contextual prompts you can activate with Space instead. For now this'll be a feature in future levels, but we'll slowly rework the story for previous levels as well.
Finally Bugs. If you go back to the first level of the game, the screen goes black and there's nothing you can do! That'll be fixed as well.
