Dear Honourable H. Hawthorne
Mx Hawthorne, all those harlots are shouting for Watson and Lestrade but you’re the realest one and that’s the tea!!!!! When’s the last time one of THEM sent Sherlock flowers? Never! They could never match your rizz! I see you and your Chanel boots, Mx Hawthorne, I see you!

H's reply:

Dear writer,
I appreciate the sentiment, in some manner, in some form—even if the phrasing may fall short of my preferred form. I am quite real, I assure you. The tea? Forgive me for lacking the vernacular; to answer, I consider myself to have a slight preference for a balanced green blend.
- And quite right. The world would be a more lovely place should fresh-cut blooms dress more windowsills.

Now, my dear writer, you are jesting. Or the youth has invented new words quicker than they should.

P.S.
My riding boots are not Chanel, whatever that is. They are Italian. I find one particular cobbler’s leather work and stitch to be most preferable from one specific village. Very pliable and sturdy. Fits like an excellent glove.
