Emil

Meet Emil, a 20-year-old artist and performer from New York City!

After we collaborated remotely on a quarantine collage this past summer, Emil and I decided to explore a park in the city for a new photoshoot. An aspiring designer, singer and all-around artistic guy, Emil was very interested in my photography- telling me he wanted to collaborate as soon as he saw my work on instagram. He said he loves art of the body; “the stories told by the way they move, the way they bend and contract. The different folds and wrinkles and stretch marks. But most importantly, the way they makes me feel…free.”

He also told me, "I'm always interested in the each individual photographer's process. For instance, how the mood is set during a photoshoot, how they warm up their models, whether or not they are set with one idea or allow on the spot improv.” My style is definitely more free-flowing, allowing a model’s exploration to drive the shoot, and allowing me to search for the best natural light and poses in any given environment. We hit it off right away- Emil is kind and adorable, but that doesn't take away from his edgy fashion sense (check out his WW2 headgear and black trench coat combo).

He is also quite kinky; currently in a close master/pup relationship. He explains; “I am a ‘Pup’, associated with ‘Pup Play’, one one branch on the tree of kinks. I am playful, curious and most importantly, obedient. Especially when in a bedroom or dungeon setting (haha), though it does carry on into my day to day life. My collar (chain) is very similar to an engagement\friendship ring. It’s a representation of my commitment to my master, Mister J.” Mister J joined us on our shoot to tie Emil up for some shots (he’s a bondage expert!). Although somewhat strange from an outside perspective, I was very taken by the sweet affection the two showed for each other. You can see Emil’s master sneak into some of the photos, a powerful, mysterious figure carefully preparing his boy.

Emil told me; “I most loved the moment of finally seeing the photos, getting to see through the eyes of another being. You get to see what the photographer’s focus is and what they chose to highlight. It’s such a joy.”

This month I released my entire Emil set to full members (over 150 high-res photos in both color and black & white). Upgrade now unlock all my complete photo sets.

The warm feeling of that fading summer sun adds to the beauty of the subjects in these photos and the site choice works so well too. Emil is a part of the environment in this uncommon dance in the park and it is breathtaking. Well done!
