In the Future, Everything Will Be Tracked!

I'm looking at something I would like to invest in, when I can afford it. It's $500, so it's not cheap. The good news is I am catching up from being behind so hopefully I can get it in a few months.

It's called SynthEyes.. And it can track deforming shapes like you can see in the video above. It's possible I will need to get a 2nd camera to make it work well. Anyway, what this means is... I could shoot video of a live woman wearing strategically-placed tracking markers, and then I could replace her body, leaving her face, hands and feet from the original video. Amazing.

I know I am doing some of this for the next animation but that will be manually (and no doubt tediously) tracked, and only her arms. But with SynthEyes I could start with video of a skinny girl and have her grow into a hulking mass of girl beef. All with retaining her real face, and in a real background.

It is my hope that this next animation I do will take less time than my normal type of animation so I can get caught up even faster.. If I could do that I could get away with posting two paid creations in consecutive months.. That should be able to get me SynthEyes fairly quickly.

In Suki news, I haven't finished her arms yet. I've been refining her pelvis motion, and cleaning up her neck and head animation. It's looking really good now and I'm ready to tackle her arms. It's not helping us that this is an extra long animation.

Imagine... With SynthEyes these clean-up phases may be a thing of the past!
