Here's some stuff I did recently..
1. Added one more pair of weights on the weightbar.
2. Modeled the little curly metal clip on the ends of the weightbar to keep the plates on.
3. Rigged the weight bar with bones so it can bend slightly due to it's heavy load.
4. I had to alter Suki's starting position after putting the weight bar prop in place. In the attached video you can see her step into her original location.
I'm still animating the footfalls for the remainder of the animation, I just needed to get the weight bar prop in it's proper place because it's a key element of the animation. More to come!
