How should I proceed?

Sitting and waiting for the replacement hardware to arrive is a bad idea I think. It is coming from China so it may take a week or more; esp. with this being around the Chinese New Year.
I could video-record myself and hand-animate the whole thing... Obviously the quality will not be as realistic as motion capture and the process is slow. It would be like Amy's Big Entrance.. I used video reference for that one.
Another option would be I could write a story while waiting for the replacement hardware. I was thinking about the technology that I programmed into Great X-PecTations 2 that gave us voice clips. I could adopt that to make INTERACTIVE stories. This would make an excellent additional reward for those of you who donate $12 or more. Those who donate $2 or $6 would get a linear version of the story, and $12 would get an interactive version.... Kind of like the old Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books, but instead of only going to separate pages, I could choose to alter only paragraphs.. Modern technology at work...
So what do you think? Should I put Naomi on the back burner until next month and make an illustrated, interactive story? Or plow through Naomi's animation by hand?

Well "Good" is a relative term of course.. Back before I got the mocap and used video reference, I got pretty decent results.. It just can't stand up to mocap when you look at them both.
