1. Yumi is currently being retopologized. Right now 2/3rd of her torso is complete. My intention is to retro-fit Amy's rig to work with Yumi. They are basically the same from a structural point of view although Yumi is shorter at 5'1.5". I think this will save a lot of time in the rigging process. Normally I rig new characters from scratch and it takes forever. The main difference between them is that Yumi is being built from the ground-up for muscle growth animations. But more on that later.
2. The stereoscopic version of "Amy's Big Entrance" is still rendering during my down time and is probably a week from completion. So for those of you who opted for that reward... It's still coming. :)
3. I just got a new donation pledge today and pushed me to $500!!! True, the actual total is higher, but Patreon's estimation after declined pledges and fees is $500. This is exciting for me because I know that after Yumi's first animation is done and people see a glimpse of it, donations are going to spike. Probably spike HARD. Which is great because to do everything I want to do with Yumi I'm going to need more memory. 8 Gigabytes is not going to be enough. And then eventually I'll be able to afford the newest version of Lightwave (my 3D software) which is looking to be fantastic.
You know what I need to get first? A new mouse!! The middle button doesn't work any more on this one. So annoying! Anyway...
