Really big news this week!

TL;DR: I wrote/rewrote 4,332 words, rendered 3,020 images, and translated 23,532 words for 11 scenes that are being tested/proofread.

The foursome scene ultimately turned out to be awesome after the rewriting. Four people have tested it, and they all loved it.

But that’s not the only news. Simone’s scene was also finished, and the testers enjoyed it too.

But there’s more news. I translated the first eleven scenes and sent them to proofread and test while I finish the remaining four scenes.

One of those scenes is getting big already, with 10 animations rendering right now.

So, let’s go with the boring numbers:

The update is now 23,532 words long (already translated), which is +4,332 words over the estimate from last week (I overestimated the Spanish-English word ratio and ended up being 105% instead of the usual 107% for this translation).

It has 52 animations (making it the most animated update ever) with 10,122 frames (shorter animations on average make for fewer renders, the last update had 46/11,378) and 1,128 still images, for a total of 11,250 renders (+3,020 over last week's report). I should finish the 10 animations I was talking about above to see if they are good enough to make it into the game.

The update is now over the average length (22,712 words), and it will grow to be around 27-30,000 words. I still need more animations for scene #13 and a lot of renders for the other three scenes, so I think it will end up with around 13,000 renders (the average for Season 3 was 12,389 per update, for the whole game 4,477).

Getting two days off work and spending them pushing the update had a good result.

As you know, today’s my birthday, so I will take the afternoon off (or risk a divorce).
