v.0.26 Progress Report (VII)
Added 2025-07-13 19:27:49 +0000 UTCIt’s Sunday! Yeah, I know. It’s time for your weekly progress report and the boring guy with his numbers. The last time for this update.
Today, besides numbers, I have great news. I finished writing and coding the update, and it will be big (5th update ever in word count before translation and 3rd in render count). I still have some renders to do, which I expect to finish between tomorrow and the day after. There will remain the translation, which I expect to finish between Tuesday (the renders won’t take me all day) and Wednesday (my goal is to finish it on Tuesday). Then I’ll send the update to the proofreaders (who already have the first half corrected), and I hope for a release before or during next weekend. Nice, right?
Now the numbers for this week (you know I can’t leave you without your weekly dose of nerdiness):
~9,500 words and 481 renders. The update is ~28,800 words (before translation and proofreading) and 12,407 renders done, (157 more tagged, so it will end up with 12,564 if nothing goes wrong)
Being on vacation is great to push the update!!!
In some days, I will publish the table of contents and the changelog.

2025-07-14 13:50:39 +0000 UTCIt's seven days per week (even a bit more. The last report was on Sunday morning, and this one on Sunday afternoon) 😉 I'm on vacation for three weeks at my job (starting last Monday, two weeks remaining), so I pushed the update a lot. "Only" worked on it around 10-14h/day (except on Sundays, that's around 6-7). Family has reserved slots (every meal, two/three coffee breaks, and around three hours in the evening and every Sunday afternoon-evening). Friends? My wife has been sick and home-ridden most of the time for a couple of years now (sick for 9 years, but the last two we seldomly went out), so we don't have much of a social life. Writing is easy when you are inspired (and ultra hard when you aren't). There were days with more than 3,000 words and days with zero. I usually work on a scene basis, so I write a scene, render it, then the next one, rinse and repeat. Sometimes, if I'm very inspired and the scenes are relatively short, I prefer to write several without stopping and render them (on Friday, I wrote three mini-scenes with 879, 683, and 237 words in a sitting, for example). Rendering is harder to quantify. This morning I posed 61 renders in 6 hours (that were rendered during the family time). I've been in the computer for more than one hour now after my wife went to bed for only 5 renders posed. It depends a lot on the scene, if the hair of the outfit is gravity-ready, if Eileen, Kiara, or Saira are on screen (they have the slowest hairstyles to simulate), if there are more than a couple of characters, if I should choose an outfit for a girl, etc.

2025-07-13 22:52:24 +0000 UTC😳 U did 80 renderings while writing 1583 per day ????? (6 day week) This means 65 words nd 3 renderings per hour … if u don't sleep! Damn this is insane nd even more considering u have a normal job too! When do u spend some time with family nd friends? When do u even sleep???? Man right now i belive the theory of being a BORG or alien 👽 or time traveler Come on that's your secret ...or? And damn u really should think about your poor poor fans: because … we all have to read all of these words .. hooked by evry single one………… buhu😭😂🤣 and watch all these pretty stunning renderings 😍🥰😘 Man u must be a superhuman nd we are the lucky ones to witness it thx 4 the update I'M still shocked
