Note too that totals of dead Palestinians don't include the hundreds of Hamas/PIJ/PFLP militants that died on Oct 7, whereas the 1,400 figure that is cited, including many times by us, does include non civilians. Mostly it's to distinguish between those who died while carrying out the Oct 7 attacks and those who have died, and are dying, from the bombing of Gaza which has killed, at best, a token number of non-civilians, even using Israeli figures.
