Over the weekend I finished up and released this series of paper miniatures based on the Cult of the Maw adventure created by an amazing DM and my good friend Law Johnson. Law will be updating his adventure with the base versions of these miniatures soon, but I wanted to get them into your hands a bit early.
Previews and direct links to the miniature's entry on the Website Catalog are below the brick of text.
A Little Bit of Background:
Law originally play-tested this adventure over a year ago as part of a surprise D&D birthday party my partner put together for me. Even at that initial play-test stage I was impressed at how well timed the narrative beats were and how cleanly he had composed the narrative to satisfactorily conclude in 4 hour play window.
I had a lot of fun getting to visually explore and create content for a friends original creation and I'm hopeful the designs will also hold up more generically as minis for societies/forces that heavily rely on chitin - a fairly common trope that I didn't have any representation for previously.
I'd like to do more batches/series of minis that are based on/for adventure modules - I've dabbled a bit with the minis I created for my own games of Dragon Heist - but this will be the first test case of a distinct set on the website and I'm curious to see how it might evolve - thinking about easy of access/labeling/sorting on the catalog, remote referencing of the homebrew content, forcing my hand on creating miniature 'bundles', etc.
Anyhow, I appreciate your patience on this little digression, I hope you like these minis and find them useful :)

If you'd like to learn more about what inspired these minis I highly recommend checking out the original Cult of the Maw adventure module available here. Cheers!
