By now March has already succumbed to the langoliers and April is firmly established as the present we cling to. March was honestly a blur and I can confirm it existed only by the miniatures that are no longer on my to-do list.
Speaking of to-do lists, I once heard someone describe writing a novel as akin to filling an empty swimming pool by walking out and pouring a cup of water into it once a day. I feel like trying to make paper miniatures for a game that has been around for 50 years and is continually being added to has a similar sense of Sisyphusian futility to it. It's really becomes more about the joy of making stuff then any thought of really being "done".
"...may I always desire more than I can accomplish."
-Michelangelo, the party dude, talking about pizza, I can only assume.
In any case, words are hard and I should probably move this along so I can climb back into the comfortable familiarity of the art mines.

Miniatures released in March 2019 to now-ish, links go to the Printable Heroes Mini Catalog where you can download the files.

Human - Hexblade - 01 for Tier 2+ Patrons.

Golem - Undead Guardian - 01 for Tier 2+ Patrons

Warforged - Barbarian - 01 for Tier 2+ Patrons.

Technically this Yeti is part of Apirl's minis and not March, but I've taken so long getting this little newsletter update out that it snuck out into the wild while I wasn't looking.

Older Miniatures that have been updated or recently added to the Website Catalog.

For those of you not following along on my Trello production board here's a look at some of the things I've been working on and should (hopefully) make it out this month.
Flaming Skull
This design was selected by my Council Patrons as this month's Council Miniature. I'm personally very excited to get this one done as it's one step closer to having minis for all of the monsters in Lost Mines of Phandelver Starter Set.

Hobgoblin Warlord
Rework of an older design. I'll be working to get this guy and his variant Honor Guard released this week.

Half-Orc Recolor and Honor Guard variant. I'd thought about doing a Devastator art variant, but after a few sketches I realized it really deserved it's own unique pose - so look for that somewhere down the line!

Hobgoblin Cleric
I've always really liked Hobgoblins as a lawful monster race and saw the opportunity to finally play one with Ravnica's new Order Domain Cleric. I created this miniature for my character Rokh (he just hit lvl 4 and has converted 1 PC and 2 NPCs to the service of Maglubiyet) for my Friday night game.
"My people were weighed down by their gods, but Maglubiyet set us free and taught us that we need only a sharpened blade and the discipline to use it."

I've been holding off releasing him until I was able to finish up the art variant, here's a WIP shot of how that is progressing:

Cult of the Maw
Law was kind enough to play test his Cult of the Maw module as a one-shot on my birthday a year or so ago - back before we really knew each other that well and it was such a cool thing for him to do that I wanted to try and return the favor by doing some minis for it. The base version of these will be added to his module on DriveThru, and they'll also be available through my web catalog with all the normal Patron bells and whistles.

Work in progress shots of the Cathar and Lil' Maw that still need to be test printed.

One benefit of taking so long to get these little newsletters released is that it gives plenty of time for cool new things to pop up in the community.
Trash Mob Minis - Patreon

My good friend and fellow paper miniature creator Trash Mob Minis has finally gotten around to kicking off his Patreon. As much as our styles differ I am constantly inspired by the clear read and design sensibilities of Jess's minis. Highly recommend checking his stuff out.
Lady Tiefling - I Loot The...

Among other things @ladytiefling creates these wonderfully useful, 'Loot the...' tables and posts them for free on her twitter. I found them wonderfully convenient and clever.
RPGPaperCrafts - Pop-Out Maps

I feel like just the other day Joozey @RPGPapercrafts had started exploring creating simple wall pop-outs and the next thing I know they've gone and made an entire city block that fits in your wallet. I can't even imagine the incredible stuff they'll be making two years from now.
Papierschnitzel - The Paper Shipwright

With WotC's Ghosts of Saltmarsh on the horizon I feel like everyone needs to know about the amazing papercraft ships Chris @Papi3rschnitz3l creates.
It occurred to me that even though they're pretty well known and established I should maybe share two of my favorite D&D online comics just in case there might be folks out there who haven't had the good fortune to stumble upon them before now.
The Order of the Stick

While the art style is literally stick figures The Order of the Stick is hands down one of the most entertaining and compelling D&D webcomics out there. Massive story arcs, great characters, and wonderfully self aware. Highly recommended.
Table Titans

Table Titans is draw by the legendary Scott Kurtz and might be the greatest love letter to D&D that has even been written in comic form. The art and panel layouts just keeps getting better and better and the stories beautifully blends the experiences of the players and their characters. Again, highly recommended.
I love this god damn hobby.

P.S.
As always, thank you to all of my amazing Patrons who make what I do possible and humor my clumsy attempts at writing newsletters. Thank you!
