I really see 'em like holiday decorations - something fun and special to bring out every year - plus it gives me an excuse to do things I might not normally make - but like holiday decorations, if they were out all year they'd just fade into the background and wouldn't feel special.

If at all possible, I'd like to suggest making some exotic weapon minis or "upgrade kits" to switch onto the existing minis. I never see minis with weapons like whips or chains. Also maybe a friendly adult dragon or a male paladin. :)
