Fall Seasonal Minis - Update

TL;DR - The Halloween Seasonal Minis are back up will be available until December 1st.
The response to the Halloween seasonal minis has been incredibly positive, but I have gotten some great feedback that the window of availability just wasn't long enough - it was too easy for people traveling or otherwise indisposed during the holidays to miss them.
The Goal
The goal of these was to have something fun and extra around the season/holidays on top/in addition to the regular minis I create each month. Something festive, like Holiday decorations I could bring out each year to give everyone something extra/special to be excited about. A library of fun minis for Patrons to look forward to each season that would continue to grow with each passing year.
Of course, like Holiday decorations if they're left out all year they tend to lose their luster and become just part of the background again. Only being available part of the year is what makes them special.
That said, I want them to be fun and I definitely don't want anyone to be stressing about or feeling they constantly need to be checking in to the site each day to make sure they don't miss anything.
The Plan
So what I'd like to try is just expanding the windows of availability to be truly seasonal, so for example rather then specifically having 'Halloween' minis around October they would be, 'Fall Season' minis and they would be available from September 1st to December 1st, with 'Winter Season' minis becoming available from December 1st to March 1st, etc.
If you'd missed the Halloween themed minis the first time around they're back and will be available until December 1st,
In Conclusion
It's my hope this will make strike a nice balance between making them accessible, but still keeping them feeling special. I'll continue to be watching for/listening to Patron feedback and will continue to fine tune the process as needed.

Yeah, Wagner. Would be nice having some Native Brazilian creatures as seasonal minis too. The Mapinguari, the Boitatá, the Mula-sem-Cabeça, the Capelobo, the Labatut...

My goal will be to try to get minis out and available for as long as possible, but I can for see situations where a mini might not get finished until midway through a season, so it might have a shorter availability that year then it might otherwise have - basically facing the choice of either saving it for next year or allowing it have have a shorter initial availability. I also don't have a fully defined list of what holidays and my general plan is to just kind add things as people suggest them and I get inspired. I'm also seeing it as a cool opportunity to learn more about seasonal holidays and their histories from other countries :D

I mean, all the seasonal minis will be released in the 1st month and stay avaliable for two others, or they will be released as the events come, and have a variable lifespan?

2018-11-06 17:14:53 +0000 UTCI guess I need to read things more thoroughly because I didn't even realize they were being taken down! Love the idea of three-month blocks of seasonal minis. Also, my players would love to kill Santa, if you're in need of ideas for "Winter" minis.

2018-11-06 17:13:49 +0000 UTCI think it's a perfect idea. May be for next fall season, you can start with September being the "getting back the previous fall season miniatures month", October the "new design voting month", and finally November the "all fall season rewards month".
