Winter 2018 Seasonal Mini Suggestion Thread

This is the place to make your suggestions for what you'd like to see as this year's Winter themed Seasonal Miniature(s).

If you haven't, please check out the Seasonal Miniature Thread for more information on what this is all about.

I'm looking for suggestions both for unique Winter/Holiday themed Miniatures and for ideas on how I could "dress-up"/modify/add seasonal flair to miniatures that may already exist in the catalog.

There's no limit on suggestions, and after the 9th of this month I will select my favorites and create a Poll for everyone to vote on.

This suggestion thread will be open till Midnight on the 9th PST, and I'll create a new thread for Voting on the 12th.

Once voting is complete I'll start making the miniatures and plan to make them available around the middle of December.

Thanks in advance to everyone who contributes ideas!

-Marshall

Krampus... really thats all I need. I Krampus.

Ryan

+1 Because I want a Storm Giant for any reason.

I bet they are a lot of work, but I'm a sucker for the dragons. Pulling out a big monster just makes my PCs freak out (so of course I love to do it).

What about elf kuo-toa's? those never blinking eyes and constant never ending work explains their detirmental mental health lol

Matt

I've made almost a cientific article to tell about my sugestions, but Patreon sended to somewhere unknown when I hit POST, so I'll make an abstract: - Enjoyed the idea of the snow Queen. Good stuff. - Someone spoke about something like a Lich King. Sounded good to. You made a mini with that spirit a long time ago, in the Undead set, so it's just make some winter details (and would serve the purpose of renew some of the old designs) - Though of something that I guess it doesn't exists, but would be pretty nice: An Ice themed pythomancer. But instead of leaves and trees, ice. The sky is the limit about the minions: Ice in a goblin-shape, mamoths or T-Rex made of Ice, sabretooths with ice fangs, etc... - And, finally, a winter stylized paladin, with clothes like the ones of Nightwatch from GOT (all the capes and the fur, etc...). One of the designs could have the colors of Santa (red cape, white fur), And a staff instead of a sword (would be like a reskin, idk, just brainstorming...) Well, this is it. Would be nice for me to have any of these (but specially the "Coldmancer" haha).

Gingerbread man goblins? or something Gingerbread man re skinned that is small

Matt

Frozen zombies / skeletons. Maybe a snow/ ice reskin of the elemental. Possibly a sled, that could be pulled by wolves or a Jackalope.

Michael Feeney

Seasonal Gnomes

Tiago Frossard

Reindeers

Tiago Frossard

Seasonal Yeti

Tiago Frossard

Snowman Golem

Tiago Frossard

like a "Blizzard Elemental", cool!

Can't remember, did we get the Yeti? That one was really sweet but I felt like it didn't get enough votes.

Stephen Hart

With Flemish Giant reskin? :D

thelibraryghost

Gingerbread golem is superb.

Jason N.

Elsa, umm... non-Disney Winter Witch and and Olaf.. er... I mean snowman henchman

Jason N.

Snow Elves (Pathfinder Snowcaster elves)

Jason N.

Giant snowshoe hare, great for sled pulling

Jason N.

Krampus! There's always Frost Giants for a Norse theme, or the Snow Queen for a fairy tale setting, or an elegant ice giant like Jadis the White Witch for a Narnia-esque villain. The suggestion above for the Golem of Prague would be super cool too!

Carrie Brady

300% here for the Golem of Prague!

thelibraryghost

Water...eh...Ice Elemental seconded. Maybe some White Walkers with blue eyed Snow Zombies. ;-)

Philip Wiest

Maybe a yeti or a krampus like monster, a Christmas treant would be great fun! I think you're already working on one, but a remhoraz for crashing those winter wonderland partys. Some kind of snow mounds akin to three stones and whatnot!

How about a snowstorm reskin of the air elemental?

Dylan Goss

Frostbite the vampire snowman

An awakened Christmas tree and mimic presents would be a good fit.

JPsCreations

Celebrate Christmas like it’s 1989 with four Tortle Monks....

professor husband

The Ginger Bread Golem. Goblin-in-a-box (wrapped in a present) Animated armor/armored wraith as a frozen version. Roper as an icy version.

Christopher Lee

Winter/white creature reskins - White wolf, polar bear, etc. Monster snowman. Krampus. Santa/Saint Nick/Father Christmas as a Druid/cleric. Chintzy “Angels” with white robes and trumpets. For Hanukkah, some Maccabee warriors or a Golem of Prague (w/“tאמת” on forehead) that can be rereleased as a Clay Golem down the line. Reskin some NPCs in ugly sweaters.

professor husband

RESKINS duergar as frost dwarfs earth elemental as ice elemental (rocks -> ice, dirt -> snow) skeletons as frozen skeletons hellhound/worg as winter wolf grassland rocks as snow-covered boulders troll as ice troll basilisk as ice basilisk (flesh to ice gaze instead of flesh to stone--I believe this was originally a recolor option) green hag as winter hag zombie as Ötzi the Ice Man ooze as snot from a giant's seasonal cold :/ NEW adult white dragon (so we have a different age bracket than young or ancient) ice devil chillfire destroyer 4e ice archon

thelibraryghost

An Ice Mage would also be cool (pun intended =))

Roma Fleg

Ice Elemental

Roma Fleg

Christmas krampus

I'd like to see some well-hatted gentlemen with scarves and canes, street urchins and the like. Think A Christmas Carol / just general Victorian type characters. The street urchins would be particularly cool since, correct me if I'm wrong, but you don't seem to have done any children NPC pawns yet.

Evil Santas elves goblins/gnomes.= (goblins dressed as stereotypical santas elves). Present mimicks. Krampus (great for parties of Evil PCs, or murder hobos).

Mashuu

seconded on the santa hat goblins. Pathfinder style if you can manage it.

Angelus

Awakened Plants with ornaments and/or and Awakened Christmas Tree would be cool. Santa hat goblin and Ice Elemental mentioned above sound cool. Just in terms of winter theme, an Abominable Yeti would be pretty cool looking.

Orc Santa/Goblin Elves, Wild Reindeer (Male, Female, Baby), Large Christmas Tree terrain w/presents, Winter Towns People/NPCs

An ice elemental.

Ok im sure lots of people says gift mimcs which is a cool idea. But how about fruitcale mimics, Angry snow dwarves, bats with holly leaf wings, a group of screaming wrapping paper ripping christmas pj wearing goblins, a buff killer reindeer, santa claws wolf.

2nd For both! Present Mimics is genius!

James Clark

2nd for Ice Worm and Snow Owlbear!

James Clark

I'm all about a yeti!

Reindeer Minotaur Reindeer w/saddle or hooked to sleigh Goblin Elves Pine Treant w/ Awakened Pinecone "Shrubs" (Personally i'd prefer plain maybe with some snow, but doing a decorated variant would work great!) White dragon

James Clark

Snow Golem, Christmas Ent are great ideas.

Valinur

I'm thinking general snow/cold monsters that you could drop in to any campaign. New: - Snow Owlbear (evil Hedwig!) - Snow golem Dress up/recolour: - Cold-fire headless horseman - The Winter Wilds recolour: Winter wolf pack, ice hellhound, ice worm (purple worm recolour), ice troll

Kaleb C2

2nd for White dragon!

James Clark

2nd for Goblin Elves!!!

James Clark

An awakened Christmas tree with present box mimics for a wonderful Christmas surprise for any party!

Krampus, snow golem with druid sommoner (Elsa?), Ghosts from a Christmas Carol (past, future, present), abominable snowman (troll/snow troll variant), Christmas tree ent

Christmas Townfolk, Grinch/Yeti, Christmas Fey/Redcap

Valinur

Kris Kringle, hunter of the undead along with his zombie killing sled that he calls “Santa’s Slay”

Luke Schoener

Toy Soldier constructs.

Mashuu

Heroes from alternate races like: gensai, tortle, shifters, etc... and dragons! Like gem dragons or elemental dragons.

Dee Kay

Yeti, Remorhaz, Bheur Hag, White Dragon

Valinur

Goblin Elves and a bugbear Santa, Christmas Treant.

Andrew

Snowlem

Travis LaFave

Snow elementals

Where do I begin? Krampus, Santa, Reindeer (possible Rudolph variant?), ice/snow elementals/golems, I could go on and on but I'm sure some of these fine folks have already said a lot of them

Jas Merripen

Rise of the guardians Santa Claus, with his tatoos, swords and black & red cloak and fur hat.

Ariel Sosa Visconti

What about an ice or storm giant dressed in Santa's clothes?

Windego

Greg Bowering

krampus with equally demonic reindeer/stag

Nephlyn

With goblins helpers instead of elves

Zombie elves

Beholder in a Santa hat. Maybe each eye has a little hat? Ice Demon, Frost Wolf.

Definitely Krampus

Krampus

Snow elemental, elf(goblin) rider on an elk, polar bear, gift mimics, the mimic door but with a wreath, ogre-santa, krampus

Anniek.

War dog with branch antlers for above

Jason N.

Grinch substitute

Jason N.

Bandits / Thugs with fur lined clothes.

A Huge Polar Bear

Fernando Alonso Simón

Winter Wizard

Jason N.

What about a blizzard inspired Lich King style figure? And some frozen nights to go along with it!

Dentist elf

Jason N.

Snow golem complete with top hat and carrot nose

Jason N.

The Adorable (Abominable) Snowman!

Since you did a graveyard elemental, why not a snowman/snow elemental. Would solve the lack of a water elemental as well, since snow is frozen water :P

Raaans

Gift mimics

Jason N.

War Reindeer/Elk

Jason N.

Viking and/or Fae Santa
