Hey Everyone! It's a new month and a new summary update! The goal of this is to summarizes what was created the previous month (in this case September), give updates on on-going project/news, and provide some previews for what to expect going into the new month.
September 2018
Quick summary of what you might have missed in September 2018.

- The Xanathar (feat. Sylgar) paper miniature was finished and released via the Dungeon Master's Guild)* as PWYW as part of a long over due Goal Reward.
- *The Xanathar is IP of WotC and so I can only make it available through the DMsGuild, but it's 'Pay What You Want' so if you're a patron just make sure you put in zero.

- We reached the $8,400 Goal Reward and unlocked this Ruined Arch prop paper miniature for free to everyone, available here.

- We then almost immediately there after hit the $8,600 goal reward which was this pair of Giant Mushrooms prop paper miniature, available for free to everyone here.

- I thought the Elf Ranger would look pretty cool with a cloak so I did this art variant/reskin for an Elf Assassin paper miniature. This reskin is available here for Tier 2+ patrons.

- I loved the Crushing Wave Cultists from Princes of the Apocalypse and finally got around to finishing some sea reaver paper minis inspired by them. I haven't gotten a chance to run that campaign myself, but I'm thinking I might weave it into Waterdeep: Dragon Heist once the party starts venturing out form the city. These Sea Reaver paper minis are available here.

- My Council Patrons selected the Lizardfolk for September's Council mini. These had been contenders for months so it's nice to finally see 'em out in the world. They're available here.
- The New Suggstion / Poll thread for this month's Council Miniature is up and Tier 5+ patrons can check it out here.
Looking Forward
Here are a few things that have been in the works

- Work on the Website Catalog continues. I didn't get to update any older files last month, but I'll be prioritizing getting the Skeletons updated with the latest PDF format and Cutfiles (tis the season) and plan to start plugging away at getting the Dragonborn entries current on the website.
- Alex collected some great feedback on the filter/tagging system from a lively discussion on the Discord Channel and is continuing to work on improving it - special thanks to everyone who contributed to the discussion!

- I'd meant to call this out last month and totally spaced it, but I wanted to remind patrons that you all have access to the Printable Heroes Discord Channel. There's a pretty active and incredibly helpful community on there - I do my best to try to catch questions, but more often then not the community has responded and resolved them before I even have a chance to (special shout out to you heroes - you know who you are ;)
- Anyhow, if you're a patron and not sure how to access it Patreon has provided this wonderful How-To article for it here.

- I wasn't able to make much more progress on the City Watch minis I'd started last month (those darn Sea Reavers ended up taking a bit more time then I'd anticipated) so I'll be looking to finish them up this month.

- I'll also be looking to finish up the Dryad mini I'd started last month. Debating if I want to add/include a separate tree mini or not which may effect how I prioritize this one.

- I'm excited to be testing out the process of doing some exclusive Seasonal Miniatures this month. We held a suggestion and a vote last month on what will be this years Halloween themed minis and I'll be starting in on the designs for them tomorrow.
- The Headless Horseman and the Graveyard Elemental were the two that were selected by popular vote.
- I'll be shooting to have them both live by the 19th.

- I'm hoping to be able to sneak a few more goodies out this month as well to celebrate the season...
In Other News
Assorted news from around the Tabletop/RPG Community and recommendations/links to great creators I follow.
- On a friends recommendation I recently had a lovely conversation with an artist who's started making battle maps. He has an aesthetic that is very "Middle Earth" for lack of a better way to describe it and sets a tone that I find enchanting. You can check out his work here.
- Mike from Paper Realms recently just released this Tudor Building Set, which could be especially useful for DMs running Waterdeep: Dragon Heist.
- I just discovered this artist on Twitter who does these amazing flat color RPG characters - there's just so many cool race/class combos and designs to inspire the imagination.
- Check out this amazing cardboard tavern building thing, holy shit.
- Geek Tank Games just started previewing their next token packs which I did the art for.
- Chris of Papierschnitzel released this incredible pirate gunboat.
- MapHammer released an epic set of module city tiles.
- Though they won't be released until this Thursday, TrashMobMinis has this fantastic set of creepy crawly paper miniatures.
- If you'd like to give your paper mini cutting hand a break, the ever industrious and endlessly inventive JPCreations now has August 2018's minis in stock.
- Annnd I'm sure as soon as I wake up tomorrow morning I'm going to remember all of the other people and cool things I wanted to give a shout out to...
