The base paper is double sided photo paper that is 65lbs / 176 gsm / 8 mil thick. Once laminated with the 3mil laminate the pages are the equivalent of 105lbs / 285 gsm / 14 mil thick.

How thick are these is what I’m wanting to know! Are they basic paper that’s laminated? Or do they have some weight/thickness to them?

I don't know the materials off hand, but I know JP has several options available and lists them on his site.

I had a very similar experience. Jp's figures/bases store so well I went back and bought from him all the sets that I had already made by hand. (Which was no small amount!)

@Rob I assume he uses a card stock, but it's laminated as well. They are quite durable. (I was using 2 layers of 80lb card stock covered by packing tape when I made my own, and jp's are stronger.)

Ok I ordered a few from JP of your art figures and just received them. HOLY MOTHER OF PAPER MINI's. They are fantastic!!!! Your artwork and his great constructed, coated, based miniatures is fantastic. I've done almost all of your artwork printed them spent way more hours than I ever wanted to cutting them all out by hand and trying to figure a way to bass them that they would stand up to use and transport. What JP has done with your artwork is just fantastic. Others have done very similar basing but JP really has made it super easy all anyone ever has to do is punch out your miniature that's already front to back and already coated put it in the base and you put it on the table in seconds. I can't really say enough good things about this and the cost is much more reasonable than me trying to have a good printer buying the inks , the time cutting it out , the time gluing it and the time basing it

Wow, I have a paper cutter, so I was sceptical that this would be attractive to me, but to have high-quality print, laminated, and lazer cut at those prices is actually a pretty good deal!

I stumbled across Johns website about 4 months ago and was amazed by how cheap the miniatures were for the amount and the quality that you get. I ordered about half of the miniatures he had available at that time, and they look just as good in person as they do online. It saves a huge amount of time, and now I have hundreds of paper miniatures that I can pull out for almost any scenario my players can think up. I can't recommend them enough!
