Bulette Paper Miniature Color Previews

The one on the far left will be the base miniature, other two will be available for Tier 3+ patrons. Still working on alternative dire-version that will be available for Tier 2+ patrons.  Also made some grassland map tiles I'll be releasing at the same time as this lil' fella so you can hunt yourself some PCs right proper.

Was thinking of doing some collapsed tunnel pit tokens you could place/trigger on adventurers to make the encounter a bit more interesting - would that be something you gals/guys would find useful?

caption this would be something like this " I smell halflings!!"

Darin

Yeah, bulettes, uber hulks, and hooked horrors all have a special place in my heart. Chimeras intimidate me a bit because of all of the different heads I have to draw out XD

Anything that can add to the DM's ability to make an encounter more interesting I'm a huge fan of, and fire breathing lava Bulette would definitely check that box haha.

Awesome idea! I don't think I'll be able to fit it in with this month's release (with the map tiles, rock props, and "fin sticking out of the ground" version of the Bulette I'm already doing I'm waaaaay behind on the rest of this month's miniatures). I could totally see coming back to this bulette and doing a magma reskin with corresponding fire breath template at a later date though.

I'm not sure I'll be able to fit in sand mounds with this release, but I could see doing some sand mound props to release along side some desert map tiles when I get around to making them.

Thanks! I need to keep pushing my poses, but I do strive to make my minis dynamic.

Definitely agree the pit is a good idea. I like the gold/brass color. One thing to consider though as these things burrow through the ground, they'd probably be pretty dirty too. I think with the metallic ones, maybe some sort of tarnishing would be cool.

James Clark

The pit tokens are a great idea. And man, I have to give it to you: Your minis are bursting with energy. That's hands down the best bulette art I've seen anywhere.

Patrick Erren

I love to see these older monsters get some recognition! Creatures like bulettes, chimeras, and mummies are so reminiscent of my earliest days of role playing. I think the pose is nice and dynamic, I even like the motion blur.

Robot Stevens

Fantastic bulette! The leap is Hobbesian in it's energy. Collapsed hole tiles would be welcome too

Flowers

These are super wicked. Awesome work as usual.

Mat Andre

How about a Lava version? With the burning insides, maybe with a magma breath template to shake up the dulled to classic monsters crowd.

Bill Redifer

Those are absolutely bonkers awesome! Can't wait to jump my group with em!

Brett Lee

This is a beautiful mini! I would like to have some rubble mounts in addition. I'm planning for a Bulette encounter in a sand storm. With the low visibility and the Bulettes hunting them, the sand mounts can be nice environmental hazzards(tripping etc)

Bibendum

Cool

Kravenar Games

No problem. Making these has become a nice hobby for me. Thank you for loving your work.

Daniel Potter

Oh that is fantastic. Anecdotes like that are a great motivator for me to make more accessories like that.

I think having environmental pieces to compliment your figures is great. Our Dm uses the 'suspicious stalitites' from your roper all the time, as soon as I let my guard down. BOOM! Roper.
