PDF files do have back view art in them. Just make sure you click the default first image to cycle through the actual miniature art.

I see the comment above but it also doesn't seem like the Tier 3 pdf has a back - is that correct?

Hi Josh, the VTT files are just for virtual table top programs like Roll20, they're not meant to be printed.

I just realized the VTT files contain no backs when I was trying to batch print these. Am I missing something with these files?

It'd be cool to see your take on the Fire Giant and the Storm Giant, and possibly male versions of all the giants in the distant future! (hint hint, quite desperately need a Harshnag mini for my SKT campaign :P)

No worries. I'm sure it's just an issue with kinkos. I appreciate all your hard work, not trying to create more.

Ahh, weird. I'll upload the individual Aboleth files when I get off work.

I kind of narrowed down the issue. It only happens on files with multiple pages. I was able to print the recent Druid files, but not the Aboleth file and the only difference I can see is the amount of pages.

I just attached an 'Individual PDFs.zip' file that has the individual PDFs, perhaps individually they may work, or at least, if there's one that is mucking everything we can identify it.

Since it works locally for you (and I just tested locally myself and it's working fine), I'd normally suggest that Staples makes sure they have the latest version of their PDF reader, but if other files are printing fine then I'm a bit at a loss...

Hrm, I'm not seeing anything that could cause it. What's weird is that the way I put these files together in InDesign I do the T3's first, then remove the recolors and save out T2, then remove the reskins and save out T1, so all of the PDFs are exported from the same master file.

All pages on the t3 document. If I remove the black borders, the file works through kinkos. It's only when they black borders are used that it happens.

Oh, and do you know if it is it a specific page in the t3 PDF or all of the pages?

Yes, exactly. It's the only time this has happened. Just printed the purple worm yesterday through kinkos.
I'm going to try and save a fresh file as well and see if I get similar results.

I'll double check how that PDF is put together and make sure there isn't some weird formatting issue that might be causing it - seems like there'd have to be if it's the only PDF running into this issue.

Hey Mark, just to confirm, it works fine locally, but when you pre-set the images for Kinkos (re-saving out the PDF) it prints with the black borders only (as if they were on top of the artwork)? Is this only happening with this PDF - other PDFs you've used work fine?

This may just be an issue on my end or with Kinkos, but the tier 3 pdf won't print with the black borders. It blacks out the entire picture. It works fine if I print locally, but not if I upload to kinkos. It's almost like the background layer is placed on top of the artwork.

These are fantastic, as usual. Took me quite a while searching for the re-skin of the stone giant to realize that the goliath WAS a re-skin of the stone giant! (Which also explains why there's only one version of the goliath...duh!) Which makes me think that although I can't imagine much use for a human-sized version of the hill giant (that would be one ugly human dude!), I can see a lot of utility for 30mm tall versions of the non-blue skins of the storm giant...she'd make a great female viking warrior. And some day, in the distant future, I could use opposite-gender versions of all of these...though making the storm giant or stone giant featured NPC a female certainly puts a new spin on an adventure.
