v.0.21 Progress Report (IV) and Update on My Issues (III)
Added 2024-09-29 08:32:40 +0000 UTCGood morning everyone. Another Sunday, another progress report.
I will start with the most urgent issues. My mother's doctors think she will get out of the hospital between tomorrow and Tuesday, so one thing almost chalked out. Yesterday she was almost well, with only a small(er) infection on her lung remaining.
My pain problem is also evolving well. I've been on meds for five days now (out of a 10-day treatment) and it starts to feel better.
Now, the update report.
I feel I haven't done a lot of work, because I haven't done a lot of work.
I added ~4,000 words to the script (9,119 right now) and 673 renders (3,846 are done right now) this week. Of the thirteen planned scenes, four are 100% finished (script and renders), two are fully scripted but not rendered yet, and two more have some renders and some script done.
I hope next week I will make a big push on the update, so I can send the first eight scenes to proofread and test at the end of the week while I work in the last five scenes.

2024-09-29 13:39:46 +0000 UTCSo glad to read (hear) your mom is doing so much better. The lung bug should be easy to kick in hospital environment and under continuous observation. Also good on your pain problem. Being notibly better in 5 of 10 days is a good sign. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids. It will help. Bin dere dun dat! And of course we are all glad to here/read these news tidbits and you know all of your fans are glad to see progress update! Many of us knowing you are also making progress as a distraction "Keeping the mind busy". A natural and upbeat way to deal with the kinds of stresses family in pain or sickness has. Best to you and yours! ALL HAIL TROPECITA!

2024-09-29 13:38:46 +0000 UTCGreat to hear everything is going well, just remember to take regular breaks especially while you're still not back to 100% health, looking forward to what's coming next but I can wait as long as it's takes, the main thing is that you and your family are good.

2024-09-29 09:43:02 +0000 UTCThanks, but taking care of my family includes the girls, right? 😉 Joking aside, working on the update helps me freeing my mind from other issues, so it has a healing effect. You only can spend a certain time worried about things you haven't any control, so stepping outside that box is refreshing.

2024-09-29 09:03:45 +0000 UTCLet's think long term here. IF you take proper care of yourself and your family, you can be productive for a long period. If you push for "productive now" at the expense of yourself and your family, you WILL burn out. On a purely cynical scale, I prefer you take care of yourself and your family. If we then add in the "being a decent human" factor, the "you and your family actually matters" weighting also leans heavily on the "take care of yourself and your family" side here. So ... take care of yourself and your family. Please. :)
