Update on my issues

My mother opened her eyes yesterday afternoon. She still can't talk, but the docs say she's 60% out of danger, and that we need to wait for a couple of days yet to be sure.
I took advantage of being there and got my (perceived) kidney problem checked. It looks like it wasn't a kidney issue but a prostate one. It's inflamed and they gave me some meds I need to take for 10 days and return if the pain doesn't go down (or goes up).
Yesterday, I arrived home late and only I wanted to sleep (and eat something unrelated to the hospital cafeteria's food). I tried and got a couple of hours of sleep, but the pain in my back woke me, so I got up, went to the computer, and finished rendering the second scene before the painkillers did their effect.
I'm going back to he hospital now. the doctors will be there in an hour or so. I'll keep you informed.

2024-09-24 13:15:42 +0000 UTCI am happy to hear your mom's condition has improved. With regards to your inflammation, I suspect you will be prescribed Flomax or the generic equivalent. It will help with urinary flow and should reduce the stress on your bladder.
