v.0.19 Progress Report and Change of Plans

I have good and bad news. The good news is that the pool party is on its way. I have already written nine (17,400 words) scenes and rendered six of them (2,948 renders with 11 animations). The bad news is that it's growing huge. Yes, it's bad news. It's way bigger than I guessed when I planned it. I guess it will get around 2-3,000 more renders (depending on how many the third lewd scene gets) and around 8-10,000 more words in the six/seven scenes remaining.
Why is it bad news? Because it's getting so big that it won't allow me to add the DnD game to this update. The DnD and its related scenes are a big series of scenes on their own and would delay the update too much.
I'm sorry. I really wanted to do it in v.0.19, but the pool party and everything that happens there required attention to the scenes and to the girls. Having 24 people populating the pool, even if they don't show in the same render, means slow posing and slower rendering. And I don't want to delay the update to the end of July to add the DnD game.
The good thing is that the gifts are already delivered and the scenes now include fewer people on screen, so the rendering will be a bit faster.

As for How long the DnD game is i remember it was just over 1 Years for one Campaign from start to Finish, and that was with every one of us Players Playing 3-5 Characters in that Game just about every weekend(Friday night Saturday & Night then 2-3 Hours on Sunday Afternoon, with 4-8 Different Players.

If part of v.0.19 needs to move to v.0.20, that could mean that something in v.0.20 needs to move to v.0.21 and so on. And that scene in v.0.24 (for example) that I want to show since a year ago will end up in v.0.25. 😥

It's the world introduction and will serve to advance the relationships, but it won't be the focus of the next updates. Only the first part of v.0.20. v.0.19 will finish with a teaser about the game (I'm still thinking about what I do that can be linked with the continuation in v.0.20) I'm far from burnout, I worked almost every day in the game for the last 32 months (including the first 6 months of designing everything before the first release), except for my three weeks vacation last year. I'm more motivated than ever!!!!

2024-06-25 16:55:58 +0000 UTCI always want quality scenes. Sometimes I manage and sometimes don't (or what looked like a great scene in my mind, isn't so great once written and rendered). But I would never rush a scene (or a whole update) because the autoimposed deadline is approaching. I know most of you prefer a week delay than a half-cooked update and I'm on the same page.

If so then Go up to where the Girls are Just sitting Down to play the Game and then just stop the Game/Vn. True that you would not get everything you wanted in this update, But if you did that, Would you not Have a Lot of Work for V.20 done or At least partially Done so that you could take a few days off Just to De-stress? Tho you may want to Make a Bit of Filler if you think it's not enough for the Update. Not any or Minimal 1-2 lewd Scenes to make it a Bit longer, or maybe just a talk with one of the Girls ( with Hints of a lewd scenes to come (future Updates tho with in the next 4-6 Updates) that get Both the MC and a few girls all Hot and Bothered ). then with V.20 the DnD Game or Maybe Break the DnD game in to 2-3 Updates But have the Mc &1-2 girls Get a Bit Excited in the Game with Lots of Hints & maybe an Out right Fantasy Lewd Scene. then i hope you would be able to stretch the DnD game over a few Updates. it would also Let you show the Girls are Just as much a Pervert as the Mc. That also Might get the Girls to be a Bit more open about there Like to Lust for the MC. Now i'm not trying to tell you how to do your Game/VN Just maybe ease a Bit of Stress for you, and Possibly Help you out of a Bit of a Problem about the DnD game. Now i happen to think your doing a Very good (job) with this Game/VN. I would say 4.45 to 4.55 Stars.so please do more but do not get burnt out. and if needed you could always ask your Patreons If your doing a good job on your Game/VN, and ask for Advice on how to improve it. Hopefully they would not go too Overboard with the Ideas or suggestions.

2024-06-24 17:25:33 +0000 UTCSounds like a "preferring quality over quantity". You prefer to deliver quality updates (i.e. high quality scenes), not just "many scenes". And ... quite frankly, as a consumer, I wouldn't want it any other way. :)
