v.0.17 Progress report
Added 2024-03-11 13:56:59 +0000 UTCYes, I know. It's not been a week yet since v.0.16 was published and I'm already here with my mad numbers.
But, I want to keep you informed about what is happening in the next update development. The last six days I haven't advanced as much as I wanted. I wanted to write the first scenes and perhaps start rendering them, but I got writer's block in the first scene. Everything I wrote looked bad or "the same we already have played". So I scrapped everything in that scene (except around 30 dialogue lines) and jumped ahead some scenes to the one that would be the hardest and longest to render (Maddie's with her 3 paths with mostly different renders for every path). And there I made a lot of progress:
I posed 18 animations with 2,448 total renders:
- 1 common for all the paths
- 7 for the Romance path
- 5 for the FemDom path
- 5 for the MaleDom path
So, at least, the paths will have between 6 and 8 animations each. Yes, I know, I overcomplicated it with small details that forced me to render the same animation thrice, but it gives a different flavor.
The actual rendering is slower than the posing. Only the common one (120 renders) and 4 other animations (768 renders in total) are rendered. Yes, even if I had tried I wouldn't have managed to get 888 renders done. The other 1,560 will be done in the next 60 hours or so while I try to write the first scenes.
Not much more has been done in the last six days, but I now have an idea about how to write the first scene (blessed showers that allow me to disconnect, see things from a different perspective, and think without a keyboard in front of me).

2024-03-11 17:32:30 +0000 UTCTo me, the important thing in this case, and even more in the first week of development, is to not become anxious and persist in crowbarring the initial idea into the scene when it's clear it isn't working. Better leave the scene, do another thing, and then return to it with fresh ideas.

In the domination paths, she will be a different relationship separated and compatible with the harem. She will be a friend of the family instead of becoming part of the family on the domination paths. There will be an option in the next few updates to convert the domination routes into a romance route, keeping the kinks already learned.
