Testing of Part 2
Added 2023-10-05 22:15:33 +0000 UTCI've been testing RiamMar's awesome work on My Dorm Part 2.
You can see some of the main screens screenshots above. It doesn't look like a standard Ren'Py interface anymore (it's beautiful) and it works perfectly (with some things to polish, but nothing game breaking).
Importing the saves from Part 1 works great, and I've done a questionnaire in case someone loses their saves (not because it doesn't work, but shit happens and someone can lose his phone, change computers, etc.).
My vengeance is that the questionnaire is almost 80 questions to get all the important choices from Part 1 correctly into Part 2. Someone said in a forum My Dorm was almost kinetic...
Besides that, I continue working on the update, although the testing has delayed me a bit more than I had in mind. Today I tested the first 4 scenes in the new Part 2 and they worked marvelously.
Once again, I should thank RiamMar for his great work (both in quantity and quality)

Yes, for me it's one of the best things Ren'py has. We want to get rid of the bad things, not the good ones 😉
