Emma's look change
Added 2023-06-18 17:41:23 +0000 UTCAs you know, Emma changed her look in v.0.10. I want to keep the makeup because it's a way to show her going from girl to woman and it was planned since the start (she was the only one without makeup).
I have doubts about the hairstyle since I didn't get the right tone. It was too dark brown or too blonde. It also shades her eyes, removing some expressivity from her.
I loved the previous one and also love the new one, so it's up to you to decide what hairstyle will Emma sport from v.0.12 until the end of the game.
To be fair, I've attached an image side by side with the same makeup, same environment, and same lights. I think only changing her makeup improves her image a lot.

However, if you do not want to change the hair color, still the new style would gather my preference. I just desire brunettes a bit more, that's all; especially brunettes with blue eyes. Nothing personal to Emma. ;) She's a doll, no matter what color her hair is. And I really don't discern an entirely different person as NijanDrak93 gleans. People change hairstyles all the time, and they remain the same person. Quite simply, people are not their hair. Her face is still exactly the same, so she's not a different person, whatsoever, except that maybe she has matured, which I discuss in the next paragraph. I just think that particular hairstyle, the second one, frames her gorgeous, oval-shaped face much better. And while her eyes may be shaded some, as you mentioned, I believe it adds to her mysteriousness as a woman, her enchantment, her allure. It would draw me to her, magnetic and mesmerizing, not push me away in the least. As you already alluded to, the first hairstyle makes her look a bit like a teeny-bopper, still going to senior high school dances and still in the prep stage for college life. The second gives her the look of a grown woman who has left that old, irresponsible lifestyle behind and is compelled by goals, dreams, aspirations, and having her whole future before her. Me likey #2, brother man! P.S. My wife does, as well!

Either immediately or later down the line even if she is smiling now. In the female dictionary there are "fat" and "fat". As is the case with a myriad of other words.

Also,, while some are saying to shows more of her face, I think it changes the shape of her face in a way that's less appealing to me.

Emma's initial hairstyle was childish, then she changed it for the night out with all the girls (like Daphne and Scarlett). She kept it because the MC said she looked great. Now it's been Kim who and specially Lisa who told her that hairstyle made her look older and have proposed the change. The problem is the MC also liked it, so she is in doubt. Some of the girls will show two (Norah, Eileen, Maddie, and Kate) or even three (Scarlett, Daphne, Emma, Martha, and Alexia) hairstyles. Some for special occasions (party, lake, shower) or to show the advance in their personality.

Changing so much of her would feel like a new character and I really liked Emma the way she was before. Nothing wrong with improvements like make-up or such, but sometimes hairstyle can be an identity for a character.
