Dikasha was born to a prominent family on one of the smaller islands. They were assailed by bad weathers and found travel dangerous. The great thunderbird seemed to have been angered by some of their actions. The family thought to offer up the child to prevent their island from being destroyed. They traveled to the stormlands and left the babe.

Dikasha was raised in the wilds by a hermit priestess. She grew with the power of the storm and inherited many gifts and talents from the priestess. She eventually gained enough power to assume control of the very storms. She did battle with a thunderbird for dominion over the skies, and won, earning her a great deal of respect, admiration, and powers.

She continues to grow in power and is often heralded as the queen of storms and weather, and given offerings as a goddess.

[COMBAT]

Power/Abilities: Various forms of lightning and storm related powers. Nothing complete and unlimited. She simply possesses many innate abilities. She discovers new ways to use her powers over time, of course.

Specific Powers:

• Weather Manipulation - A length of channeling and rites and she can create great shifts in weather, causing storms to form.
  • Not capable of truly cataclysmic weather, but it is enough to endanger the island folk. Powerful storms, intense lightning, driving rains, etc.
• Storm Calling - A quicker and innate ability to summon a lightning bolt from the sky.
  • Can also summon a small thunderhead to periodically strike with lightning
• Thunderclap - A sonic wave of destruction, capable of rending building walls and most construction materials
  • Hand clap - a cone of devastation from her hand
  • Foot stomp - a rumbling shot through the earth, tears up the ground
  • Booty clap - mostly the same as the hand clap, but far more novel.
• Lightning Channel - Powers that involve channeling her own electricity, or summoning it from the clouds.
  • Storm Javelin - Summon a lightning bolt to hurl at opponents, ala zeus or dank souls
    • Can also be thrown into the air to charge the clouds
  • Conductor - Can absorb electricity and expend it in the form of charged strikes
  • Arced lightning - A bolt shot between two targets, capable of starting fires and melting some materials
  • Charged Strikes - Infuses her body with lightning, allowing her to deliver a powerful shock with each strike. Also possible to transfer through a grasp or a grapple.
  • Chain Lightning - Classic
  • Static Barrier - A shield of lightning and energy, reflects physical blows with a powerful discharge.
  • Lightning Blade - Infuses a held weapon with lightning.
• Wind Channel - Powers that deal with the winds
  • Wind Wall - A barrier of strong winds that hamper ranged attacks. Does little to modern weapons, unless from a long long range. Capable of blowing away small attackers.
  • Gust - Mostly utility, a strong gust of wind, blown from her mouth.
  • Storm Step - Helpful to her otherwise slower speed, she gathers wind around her and dashes forth with a burst of speed, wild winds blow surroundings aside.
• Rain Channel - Powers that deal with rain
  • Healing rains - Can call down a small area of healing rains, they help to close wounds and restore plantlife. It’s not perfect or a strong heal, but it helps soothe pain and close minor wounds.
• Lightning Resistance
• Storm Eyes - Can see through harsh weather conditions
• Aspect of the Storm - After a long channel and some rites Dikasha can take on the fury of the storm, growing like a thunderhead. She grows to immense size and her powers are enhanced. This comes at the cost of destruction to her environment, and extreme fatigue when it wears off. It’s a difficult thing to do, and cannot be done in a pinch most of the time. Usually she does it in advance when she knows she’ll need it.

Skills: Combat skills, excellent with polearms and with the Katsangi martial art. Involves powerful blows, bone-breaking, throws, and grappling.

Dikasha is also quite the swimmer, decent dancer, an okay cook

Weaknesses:  She’s slow moving. It’s not a weakness, necessarily, but it’s certainly not a strength. She can’t utilize some of her powers properly while indoors. She’s a large target. Some of her lightning can be lost or reflected, via certain materials or certain conductors (not all of her lightning follows these laws, such as hurled bolts). Is not an infinite battery, as most casters *should* she has to rest and recharge. Not incredibly accurate at longer ranges. Can get taunted into an emotional fury (higher destruction, but less accuracy). Cannot perform her powers an unlimited amount of times. Each draws some of her energy, bringing her closer to exhaustion. Small things like lightning bolts can be used several times before rest, but larger abilities won’t have as many uses.
