Family: Jade has parents and a sibling, but she's estranged from them.

Background:

Jade's childhood was problematic, to say the least. Things certainly could have been worse, but they also could've been far better. Like some others, her parents had opted into some experimental medicines, in order to help the quality of life for their child, but also to get a cash incentive. Similar to Charlotte, Jade exploded upward and outward once she got puberty. Unfortunately, her parents spent the money they got from the deal poorly, and when their daughter experienced the wild growth spurts and the nearly insatiable hunger, they couldn't afford the food, clothes, and school supplies. Her parents began to resent her for the financial strain she placed upon their family. Jade faces a hostile home situation, and turned to her friends for support. She had made some good friends in school and was able to take meals and sleep over with them a majority of the time.

As time moved forward Jade experimented with drugs and alcohol to help her cope. She got in with some bad crowds, though she rarely had to fear too much. When she was 16 she was already 12 feet tall and still growing.

She lost her virginity around then. She had met a guy she thought she really liked, only to realize it was purely lust and a fetishy attraction that the guy felt for her.

Jade nearly crushed him in frustration. The exhilaration she got from it was very tantalizing to her. She began to throw her weight around more, and with a body stacked like hers, it was a lot of weight. Jade started to treat the assholes of the world as being lesser than her, and her friends as her family.

Jade barely finished high school and since then has sought employment in places where she can actually fit. She tried call center work, but it was too soul sucking. She also tried construction work, and while she was able to do a lot of lifting and reaching, she wound up being a bit of a hazard on the construction site. Eventually she settled for working in a warehouse, mostly moving stuff to and fro, as well as dealing with people on occasion.

Jade leads a pretty simple life, blowing up on social media when people see her, bullying little wimps and jerks, hanging with her crew, etc. Though things may be set to change for her soon.
