Birthplace: Small town in the southern USA, not sure if I want a specific one

Background:

Sandra's life in the rural south was a pretty simple one. She had a good family, raised on traditional values. Her father worked on a farm, and he had his kids join him in working when they were young. Sandra grew pretty quickly once she got puberty, typical of young women. Of course, Sandra wound up being quite a bit bigger than the average woman. In turn she was useful as a farmhand, more so even than her older brother. That competition was good-natured for Sandra, but for her brother it was a bit more personal. Her family was fairly traditional, antiquated in some of their beliefs, and having a younger sister be better at physical things caused the young man to be at odds with Sandra for years to come.

Sandra was faced with social difficulties in school, especially as she "blossomed" into a young woman. Being so tall, and being blessed with the wide hips of her mother, Sandra was a statuesque beauty. This caused some issue, as boys rarely wanted to date a tall woman, let alone one built like her.

She had a simple schooling, but was afforded the occasional rare opportunity. Sandra took a liking to the arts, as she enjoyed working with her hands and creating things. Over time she made the decision to pursue a career in the arts. Once she was old enough to leave the nest, she took her art teacher's advice and moved to the city. She traveled away from her simple home and into the concrete jungle of New Duncord.

She found an apartment, and got a gig as a server at a local restaurant. She found a lot of joy in her work. Though she works on art and still pursues a career there, she's pretty content with the food service life. She's been given the nickname "Mustang Sally", for her southern twang, and her impressive hips. Over the years Sandra packed on some extra weight, and developed the ludicrous curves she's become known for.
