Here's our newest map set with two new maps!
The first map is Floating Market [35x45]:
Legend has it that the Floating Market was established centuries ago by a group of enterprising merchants who sought to create a trading post that could move freely across the ever-shifting streams of the river lands. With the craftsmanship of skilled shipwrights, they fashioned a flotilla of interconnected vessels, each serving as a shop or stall.
From exotic spices and rare artifacts to enchanted weapons and mystical trinkets, the market boasts a treasure trove of wares from across the known realms. A council of seasoned traders o oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketplace. Led by a mysterious figure known only as the Commodore, the council ensures fair trade; maintaining order between the vendors and patrons.
Competing merchant factions vie for control of lucrative trade routes, and shadowy figures lurk within the stalls, seeking to exploit the market's enterprises for their own nefarious purposes.
Potential Encounters:
The Smuggler's Deal. As the party wanders through the crowded boats, they overhear a hushed conversation between two shady figures. It becomes clear that one of them is a smuggler offering to sell illicit goods at a discounted price. The party must decide whether to intervene and stop the illegal transaction or perhaps strike a deal of their own.
The Ghost Ship. As night falls over the Floating Market, rumors spread of a ghostly ship that haunts the waters, preying on unsuspecting travelers. The party encounter the spectral vessel as it emerges from the mist, its ghostly crew intent on plundering the market's treasures. Will the party confront the ghost ship or attempt to evade its grasp?
The Fey Merchant. A charming fey merchant sets up shop in the Floating Market, offering exotic goods from the Feywild. However, the fey's wares come with a catch – they require a peculiar form of payment, such as a riddle, a heartfelt story, or a promise of a favor to be fulfilled in the future. The party must decide whether to engage in the fey merchant's whimsical trade or risk offending them.
The second map is the Underdark Stream [30x50]:
The Underdark Stream is a vast underground network of subterranean rivers that wind their way beneath the surface of the world. It's a place of darkness and mystery, where strange and potentially dangerous creatures dwell in the depths.
Drow, duergar, mind flayers, and other denizens of the deep carve out their homes in the darkness, constantly vying for power and territory. The land is rich in valuable minerals, gems, and other resources coveted by surface-dwellers and denizens of the deep alike. Mithril, adamantine, and rare crystals can be found; drawing miners, merchants, and adventurers seeking fortune.
The area is suffused with dark magic, emanating from hidden ley lines and ancient artifacts buried beneath the earth.
Potential Encounters:
Dark Elf Ambush. As the party travels through, they are ambushed by a group of dark elves raiders who emerge from hidden alcoves along the walls. They use their superior agility and stealth to gain the upper hand, attacking with poisoned weapons.
Fungal Forest. In a large chamber illuminated by bioluminescent fungi, the party encounters a forest of towering mushrooms. However, they soon realize that the fungi are not as harmless as they appear—animated myconids and vegepygmies lurk among the mushrooms, attacking intruders who disturb their habitat.
Underground Rapids. The party must navigate a treacherous underground river, dodging jagged rocks and powerful currents as they wade across. Along the way, they may encounter hostile sahuagin raiders who patrol the waters, or monstrous aquatic beasts lurking beneath the surface.
Thanks for your support! We truly appreciate it! The last few months have been super busy but more time is opening up so we should be able to make more maps in the future.
