Map Set 43 Gold (Astral Bastion and Shore Fort)

Here's out newest map set with two new maps!

The first map is Astral Bastion [40x44]:

Aye, listen well, me hearties! The Astral Bastion be a mighty fortress built atop an asteroid that floats through the endless expanse of the Astral Sea. Legend has it that it was built by an ancient pirate king whose amassed wealth afforded him powerful magics to protect his abode.

Many a pirate crew has tried to raid the bastion, but none have succeeded. It holds secrets and powers beyond mortal understanding, and those who seek to conquer it do so at their peril. But if ye ever do manage to breach the bastion's defenses, ye'll find untold treasures beyond your wildest dreams. So, if ye be brave enough to seek out the Astral Bastion, may the gods have mercy on your souls!

Encounter Prompts:

• Heist at the Bastion. The party has been hired by a wealthy collector seeking a particularly valuable artwork by Lirien Mistweaver, a famous painter. They mus navigate the fort's defenses to find the painting while avoiding it's guardians.
• Rogue Gith. A group of rogue githyanki have infiltrated the Astral Bastion and are using its resources to launch a series of devastating raids on nearby planes. The party is hired by the Bastion's former residents to neutralize the threat.
• Ambush at the Summit. The party is hired to escort a high-ranking diplomat to a meeting within the bastion. But when the meeting is ambushed by a group of mercenaries the party must defend the diplomat fight their way out.

The second map is Shore Fort [51x85]:

Shore Fort is a magnificent fortress that stands high above the ocean on the rocky cliffs, built long ago by a great wizard named Alaric, who sought to create a stronghold that could withstand both fierce storms and savage attacks. Alaric imbued Shore Fort with an assortment of enchantments making it nearly impregnable. The walls were reinforced with enchantments to repel siege weapons and the gates could only be opened by those who knew the proper passcodes.

But as with all things, the time came when Alaric passed on to the next world, leaving behind a legacy of arcane wisdom. Shore Fort remained, a towering monument to his vision, but as the years passed, its magical enchantments began to fade.

The fortress still stands today, a symbol of protection for those who live along the coast. Its weathered walls and rusted gates are a testament to Alaric's skill and vision, and perhaps one day, a new wizard will rise to reclaim Shore Fort to restore its former glory.

Encounter Prompts:

• The Haunted Shore.  Unsettling occurrences within the walls of Shore Fort have caused a stir, and the party is hired to investigate. They must navigate the haunted corridors, uncover the source of the haunting and put the restless spirits to rest.
• Alaric's Lost Treasure. Legend has it that Alaric hid a great treasure within the walls of Shore Fort before his passing. The party is hired to find the treasure, but they must first navigate the fort's traps and puzzles to reach it.
• The Rise of the Krakothian. A massive sea monster has risen from the depths and threatens to destroy Shore Fort. The party must find a way to defeat the monster before it unleashes its fury on the fortress and nearby villagers.
