Hey all!
Off the top, I have to apologize for the lateness of this map set. I had a pretty rough month personally that really diminished my enthusiasm to do creative stuff in general. First, I lost one of my puppers, Star, at the ripe old age of 15. If you have any furry (or not furry) friends, give 'em a big hug! Second, I had some health issues that were severely impacting my sleep and basically turned me into a zombie during the waking hours. It was miserable. Gladly, I'm back to getting decent sleep which got me hyped to return to creative endeavors.
Anyways, enough with the excuses, to the maps!
First we have the Corrupted Forest [30x50]:
In the depths of a ravine lies a creepy forest, where even the bravest of souls dare not venture. The mist is suffocating, and the trees are twisted and gnarled, as if they are reaching out to ensnare any unfortunate traveler who happens upon their path.
In the center of the forest, there stands a dilapidated house. Its roof sags, and the windows are boarded up, as if to keep something inside from escaping. The walls are alive with a malevolent energy, emanating from a pulsating mass of dark energy inside the house. As you approach, you can feel the corruption seeping into your very being, and you know that you must turn and run, before the forest swallows you whole.

Second is the Tannery [25x30]:
For generations, the Tanner's Guild has been an important part of the town, producing high-quality leather goods from a variety of hides. The guild's sprawling complex houses numerous dye pits, tanner's tools, hide racks, and living quarters for guildmembers. They take pride in their work and are known for their ability to create leather in a rainbow of colors.
However, rumors persist of dark magic being used in the dyeing process. Claims have been made that the guild made pacts with unsavory characters to obtain exotic hides. Despite these rumors, the Tannery Guild remains integral to the town's culture, producing leather goods highly sought after by nobles and merchants alike.

As always, thanks for your support! It does mean a lot. Next set will definitely come a lot faster than this one. I'll be posting the next map prompts thread tomorrow.
