Map Set 38 Gold (Crystalline Grotto and Jarl Tomb)

Here's our newest map set with two new maps!

The first map is the Crystalline Grotto [35x50]:

The Crystalline Grotto, a place of great beauty and mystery, is held sacred by the Order of the Green Leaf, a group of druids who honor the natural world and its spirits. They believe that the great amethyst crystals that adorn the grotto are infused with magical energy, and that the grotto itself is a place of power and healing. The druids of the Order of the Green Leaf perform rituals and offer sacrifices in the grotto, seeking to gain the favor of the spirits of nature.

Lady Liriope, the high priestess of the Order of the Green Leaf, is the guardian of the Crystalline Grotto. She is a wise and revered figure, known for her ability to communicate with the spirits of the grotto and interpret their will. Lady Liriope presides over the rituals and sacrifices in the Crystalline Grotto, and it is said that she holds the power to bestow blessings or curses upon those who visit the grotto.

Encounter Prompts:

• The Cursed Grotto: A powerful curse has been placed on the Crystalline Grotto, causing the gems to lose their luster and the water to turn foul. The adventurers are hired by Lady Liriope to investigate the source of the curse and lift it before the grotto is irreparably damaged.
• The Shrine of the Sleeping Spirit: The Crystalline Grotto is home to a powerful and ancient spirit, said to be the guardian of the gems. The adventurers are hired by a group of scholars or adventurers to explore the grotto and find a way to awaken the spirit.
• Amethyst Thief: A valuable gem has been stolen from the Crystalline Grotto, and the Order of the Green Leaf is devastated. The adventurers are hired by the druids to recover the gem and bring the thief to justice.

The second map is the Jarl Tomb [37x40]:

The Jarl was a mighty warrior and a skilled sailor, and he had fought many monsters and other dangers in his time. He had faced down fearsome sea-serpents and vanquished hordes of ice-wights, earning the respect and admiration of his people. When he passed away, his people built a grand tomb for him, underground, with a long ship called "The Sea-Wyrm's Bane" at its center. The ship was lined with luxurious furnishings and treasures, creating a unique and memorable resting place for the Jarl.

And so the Jarl was laid to rest, with all the honor and respect he deserved. His memory lived on in the hearts of his people, and his legacy as a great warrior and leader who had defeated many fearsome monsters would never be forgotten.

Encounter Prompts:

• The Jarl's Final Journey: The Jarl's followers believe that their leader's spirit is      trapped within the tomb, unable to move on to the afterlife. They hire the adventurers to perform a ritual or find a magical artifact that will release the Jarl's spirit and allow it to rest peacefully.
• The River of the Dead: The small river flowing through the tomb is rumored to have strange and malevolent powers. The adventurers are hired by a group of      scholars or treasure hunters to investigate the river and determine its nature.
• The Last Stand of the Jarl's Fleet: The Jarl's fleet of long ships was said to be a      formidable force, capable of withstanding any storm or enemy attack. The adventurers are hired by a group of archaeologists or naval historians to search the tomb for clues about the fleet's fate.
