Map Set 33 Gold (Fairy Cottages and Spider Rock)

Here's our latest map set with two new maps!

The first is Fairy Cottages [45x55], a collection of small houses protected by an enchanted fairy circle that regulates the climate within and prevents hostile creatures from entering without invitation. Here the fairy folk remain mostly safe from the outside world, able to spend their time tending their gardens and planning pranks to pull on the humans that live in a nearby village. Those lucky enough to befriend the fairy folk will find them to be powerful allies in a pinch if their shenanigans can be endured.

Encounter Ideas:

• Kidnapped - A newborn in the nearby village has been acting strangely and the mother suspects the fairy folk have kidnapped her child and replaced it with a doppelganger.
• Button Trade - One of the Pixies that lives in the cottages is willing to buy large quantities of buttons of varying sizes but she won't say why. She'll pay in fairy dust or other mystical reagents.
• Snail Trails - A sprite's pet snails have escaped and she needs help tracking them down and returning them. They couldn't have gone far, but a goblin chef has been slinking around the forest. Find the snails before he does.

The second is Spider Rock [30x30]. The Queen of Arachnids has infested this part of the forest with hordes of spider-spawn, establishing her nest atop a stony ridge. No spider is allowed to be harmed within the queen's domain, and those that violate the sanctuary's laws face deadly consequences. Creatures that are allies of spider-creatures, like drow and neogi, or that worship spider gods are allowed to pass through the queen's territory unharmed, but they are still watched carefully.

Encounter Ideas:

• Human Invasion - A new human settlement nearby has tired of giant spiders eating their livestock. They'll pay handsomely for a group of adventurers to take care of their spider problem.
• Antivenomous - A nobleman's daughter is dying from a giant spider's bite. The local wise woman needs a sample of giant spider venom to create an anti-toxin.
• The Finest Silk - It is rumored the Spider Queen's silk, when infused with arcane energy, can be used to create a magical garment that's light as a feather and tougher than steel.
