He took his trusty hound and set off to investigate, but only the hound returned. His daughter grabbed the small pouch of silver secreted away under a loose floorboard in their cottage and raced to the local tavern to find anybody willing to help find out what happened to her father. Perhaps a brave band of adventurer's?
